CAROLINA MEN’S BASKETBALL TICKETS AND BENEFITS

Season tickets are available for Carolina Men’s Basketball when you endow a scholarship or participate at the Legend, Champion, All-American, Coaches Circle, or Super Ram membership levels.

All members can buy a Tar Heel Ticket Package (a ticket for each game except the Duke game) and request single-game tickets as available in the fall.

RAMS CLUB PATIO

The Rams Club Patio is the football pregame spot for Rams Club members! Located on the terrace of the Genome Sciences Building across from Kenan Football Center, the Rams Club Patio opens 2.5 hours before kickoff on all home football game days and closes 30 minutes prior to kick. The patio is open to all Rams Club members and their immediate family, or three guests. Join us on the patio for pregame fun, music, snacks and drinks. Show your Rams Club membership card for access!

PRIORITY POINT SYSYEM

Rams Club members can earn Priority Points with each gift and year of membership – points which are used to determine priority for ticket assignments and availability. The Priority Point System determines seat locations for football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, baseball, and postseason tournaments.

Have tickets to a football or men’s basketball game you can’t use? Turn It Blue and make sure each seat is filled with a Tar Heel fan! When returning your tickets, your account will be given a non-monetary credit which will increase your Priority Point total. To return tickets for UNC regular-season home games, call 919.843.5761 and leave a message with your name, membership ID number, seat location and the game you wish to turn in. Tickets will be re-issued with a new bar code.

REFERRALS

Refer a family member or friend who you think should join the team, and earn point credit for recruiting new members!

The Point After Campaign rewards current Rams Club members who recruit a new member to join The Rams Club at any giving level. When the new member communicates the referring member’s name to The Rams Club upon joining, the current member will earn valuable Priority Points. Any active Rams Club member can participate in the Point After Campaign. Only one active member can be awarded point credit per new member.

SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT

Donors to the Scholarship Endowment Trust provide critical, long-term support for Carolina’s athletic scholarship program and opportunities for over 500 gifted student-athletes annually to gain a world-class education.

CAPITAL PROJECTS

Rams Club members also play a pivotal role in providing the world-class student-athletes at Carolina with world-class facilities in which to prepare and compete for championships.

SPORT OPERATING ENDOWMENTS

Each sports program at Carolina has its own sports operating endowment. The yield from these endowments is made available to the coach to help meet specific needs not covered in the regular operating budget.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Rams Club membership is just one of many ways Carolina fans can support current and future Tar Heel student-athletes.

Who can join The Rams Club? Anyone at any age can become a Rams Club member! You do not have to be an alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

What if I’m still in school at Carolina or just graduated? The Student Ram Club allows current UNC students to join The Rams Club for only $25 per year. Student Rams receive all the benefits and points a Tar Heel ($100) level member receives and more! The Recent Graduate program allows recent Carolina graduates (within five years of graduation) to join The Rams Club at any level, excluding Champion and Legend, for half of the annual contribution requirement. Learn more about these programs on page 6.

Is my donation tax deductible? Tax law changes at the end of 2017 altered the possible deductibility of gifts that provide seating priority at home athletic events. An explanation of the point system and possible impact on tax deductibility can be found at ramsclub.com/waystogive.

When is my annual fund gift due each year? All membership gifts are due by June 30 to keep your account active and eligible for full member benefits. The membership year runs from July 1-June 30.

Can I transfer my membership? Rams Club memberships cannot be transferred to another person and can only be passed to a spouse.

What is the relationship between The Rams Club and Carolina Athletics? The Rams Club is a non-profit entity with a volunteer board of directors that works with the University of North Carolina Department of Athletics to serve its mission by raising private funds and providing necessary resources to achieve success.
