Urban intervention is a complex process wh requires a firm detailed analysis of many aspects in t study area for a proper well designed solution wh will benefit the community and the economy of t area not just for the present but for the futu purposes also. Many elements compose the city an proper analysis was done on the Paranh Municipality, Porto Portugal to fully understand needs, its challenges and its resources which may beneficial to the people of Porto in General. The SW analysis exposed the need for Metro bus line on t amial area intergrated into a city's transit network.

The area is structured and designed in a manner which makes it more lively, safe, resilient, sustainable and healthy and it is all in the hands of the urban designers to find ways which would improve the area which in turn must transform the city of Porto as whole. The sidewalks are more than just spaces in which people passes and nothing more, the idea was explored and implemented and now the sidewalks are spaces which encourages social activities and optional activities, while enjoying nature blended and merged with the artificial architectural elements. The incorporation of the new Metro line helps shape the area into a better place with the bus stops serving as more than just bus stops by allowing small local stores close by to boost the local economy.

Iceland Volcano Coffee Shop-Competition
The project required the design of a coffee shop that would be located at the base of the Hverfjall volcano. The new coffee shop would need to include facilities for a new visitor center and a small exhibition room that would give visitors information about the volcano’s history.


Hverfjall is in northern Iceland, it is a tephra cone or “tu ring” volcano. Located to the east of the volcanic Lake Mývatn, the volcanic explosion crater is 1 km wide and roughly 140 meters deep, and is a popular hiking destination. Visitors can easily access many parts of the crater via public hiking trails, where its ridges can reach up to 200 meters in height.
Mid-Atlantic Ridge Sun Orientation
The Orientation of the Sun played a crucial role in the decision making on the Volume of the building, The Volume of the building follows the path of the sun, the sun light is vital even though it appears for smaller portion of the day in certain seasons.
Mid-Atlantic Ridge Concept
Mid-Atlantic Ridge goes through Iceland, it is the only country that experiences this, therefore making it symbolical to the Iceland Nation. The building mimics the two separation of a single country making the building to have two volumes.
