123: Building A Mount Building A Mount

>> Device Holder The device holder is the component that grips or attaches directly to your particular phone, tablet, GPS, action camera or any other device.

>> Double-Socket Arm The arm connects the holder to the base via the RAM ball & socket system and is what gives your mount its adjustability.

Available in 3 lengths, 2 ball sizes (1” & 1.5”) and in 2 materials; the ideal choice of arm depends on the weight of your device and the environment & application in which the mount is being used.

Base << The base is the component that hosts your mount and attaches it to the desired surface.

In this instance we have a 1” Track Ball™ attached to a 3” aluminium screw-down Tough-Track™ base.

The base and all other components are interchangeable, so depending on the application you can utilise suction, clamp, screw-on, adhesive bases and more.
