District Representative; Eladio Cardona visit our campus. It is important that our representatives in the state government know about the program and promote our services to the youth in the Island

The representative met with the OA/CTS Director, Mr. Ismael Bordoy and Manager of Mrs. Jouvar Valle, also the program BCL; Ms. Elba Yanira Jimenez.

Thank you Representative Cardona for your interest in promoting Job Corps Program among the youth of your district.

During the past year 2022, Ramey Job Corps reached an important collaboration agreement with the Colorado Department of Correction. This agreement benefits the students of the Homeland Security, Nursing and Culinary Arts workshop. Interested students are orientated of the process by a recruiter who visit the center and if they successfully pass the admission exam, they get to move to Colorado for their Training Academy. Once they successfully complete it, they begin their professional career.

Our first student to be recruited was Owen Nuñez, a 20-year-old who completed the Culinary Arts workshop in December. Owen is going to be excelling in the kitchen area. We congratulate this young man for having successfully completed the training and we wish him the best of success in his professional life.
