There once lived a girl

so scared of the world,

her delicate fingers would touch the glass

sobbing at the reflection staring back.

In three months of time

this girl slowly began to come back to life,

now her fingers touch the glass

and her eyes stare at the reflection

thanking the world for her redemption.
