Youth

Rumblin' Tumblers Enjoy an exciting adventure in tumbling that will have your child rolling and leaping with joy! In this class, children will learn the basic building blocks of tumbling, including forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels, and handstands. Instructor: Breyana Robinson Day: Mondays Ages: 4-5 and 6-10 Time: 5:30-6:15 p.m. (4-5), 6:30-7:15 p.m. (6-10) Fee:$40/month Soccer Kickers G-O-O-O-A-L! Develop the fundamentals of soccer, including passing, dribbling, shooting, and defense. Improve your hand-eye coordination, listening skills, good sportsmanship and teamwork! Day: Thursdays, April-October Ages: 4-6 and 7-9 Time: 4:30-5:15 p.m. (4-6), 5:15-6 p.m. (7-9) Fee:$40/month Basketball Skills and Drills (Beginner & Advanced-Elite Advanced-Elite)) These clinics are designed for beginner and advanced players that seek to improve their basketball skills. Beginner skills focus on ball handling, shooting mechanics, offensive/defensive spacing, passing, and basketball terminology. Advanced-Elite skills focus on improving court vision, movement with and without the ball, various shots, and how to read the court. Instructor: Urysla Cotton Day: Thursdays, March-November Ages: 8-12 (Beginner); 10-15 (Advanced-Elite) Time: 6:30-7:30 p.m. (Beginner); 7:30-8:30 p.m. (Advanced-Elite) Fee:$50/month Sensory Explorers & STEAM Play Lab In Sensory Explorers, children explore, create, and strengthen fine motor skills through themed stations and simple crafts. A parent/guardian must accompany each child. In STEAM Play Lab, children experiment, build, and problem-solve through hands-on activities. Enjoy rotating stations that introduce science, engineering, and creative thinking in a fun, accessible way. All supplies provided. Both programs require pre-registration. Dates: August 16 & 30, Sept. 20, Oct. 4 & 18, and Nov. 1 & 15 Ages: 2-5 (Sensory) and 5-8 (STEAM) Time: 2-3 p.m. (Sensory), 3:30-4:30 p.m. (STEAM) Fee:$10/class 2

All-Sports at the Creek Introduce children to a new sport each week, including basketball, football, soccer, and more! Sessions will teach the basic fundamental skills for each sport, how to be a good teammate, sportsmanship, and confidence! All equipment will be provided. Location: Field #1 Day: Tuesdays (April - October) Ages: 4-6 Time: 5:30-6:15 p.m. Fee: $40/month Golf - First Tee First Tee is a youth development organization that enables kids to build strength of character that empowers them through new challenges. By integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, we create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do. It is instructed by First Tee Golf Instructors. The first two (2) weeks will take place at Brier Creek Park Field #2 and the last two (2) weeks at First Tee of the Triangle Golf Facility (12201 Leesville Road.) Dates: September 1-22 & April 6-27 Ages: 7-12 Time: 4:30-5:30 p.m. Fee: $20/month

Raleigh Rockets Track

Grow a love for running and being active! Participate in weekly practice sessions at team sites and track meets and competitions. Uniform shirts provided. Meets located at Buffaloe Road Park. Dates: March 9-May 13 Days: Mondays & Wednesdays Time: 5:30-7 p.m. Fee: $45 Zombie Survival Training Learn how to survive a zombie attack! Make a fire, build a shelter, and use a compass. Play fun zombie games and cook outdoors! All supplies provided. Please bring a water bottle, wear closed toe shoes, and clothes that can get dirty. Days: Wednesdays Ages: 8-12 Time: 5-6:30 p.m. Fee: $40/month Youth Boys and Girls Basketball League Registration Registration is October 1-14. Volunteer coaches are needed who enjoy basketball, want to teach youth, and to develop participants' skills and knowledge of basketball. League Age is determined by participant's age on August 31, 2026. Ages: 5-17 Days/Times: Vary depending on league Fee: $64

Letters to Santa! Write a letter to Santa! We are helping the North Pole this holiday season by hosting Letters to Santa! No registration needed; drop by a participating community center to join in! How it Works: 1. Use our templates to write a letter to Santa, online or in person. 2. Drop off your letter at a participating community center between November 20-December 17, during operating hours. 3. We deliver the letters to Santa. 4. You pick up the letter at the same community center you dropped it off at on or after December 19. Participating Sites: Abbotts Creek, Biltmore Hills, Brier Creek, Carolina Pines, Green Road, Greystone, Halifax, Jaycee, Kiwanis, Lake Lynn, Laurel Hills, Lions, Marsh Creek, Method Road, Optimist, Pullen, Roberts, and Worthdale Community Centers. 4

Santa's Workshop Come join us at Santa's Workshop in the North Pole! You'll have a blast making toys, crafts, and experience some holiday cheer! Date: December 8 Ages: 5-9 Time: 5:30-7 p.m. Fee: $5 Pumpkin and S'more! Like painting? Love s'mores? Celebrate Halloween with us at Brier Creek! Participants paint pumpkins and make s'mores! All materials provided. Date: October 13 Ages: 5-12 Time: 6:30-7:45 p.m. Fee: $10 Martial Arts: Kickboxing This course combines basic elements of Karate and Muay Thai and is a great opportunity to learn the fundamental techniques common to different martial arts styles. Students can use this program as a fitness class or choose to progress through a belt system with additional requirements. Classes are highly structured with safety first. Boxing gloves required. Bring your own or purchase from instructor for $30. Instructor: Alex Tsikos, 4th degree black belt certified & Muay Thai Fitness Kickboxing certified. Sports Officiating 101 Are you a former athlete or sports fanatic and want to get involved in the game? This free workshop will provide you with all the resources and information you'll need to become an official. Learn what it takes to get connected in your community and make a difference! Pre-registration is encouraged. Days: September 23 (Green Road, March 23 (Brier Creek Ages: 14+ Time: 6-7 p.m. Line Dance Get in line! We offer both beginner and advance classes. Prior experience is only needed for our advanced class. Learn choreographed line dances while having fun! Music includes country, pop, oldies, and more! Instructor: Jackie Wheeler Days: Wednesdays Ages: 15+ Time: 6-7 p.m. (Advanced, 7-8 p.m. (Beginner Fee: $5/Drop-In ZUMBA® at the Creek! International explosion of dance, fun, and fitness! Learn basic Latin rhythms and moves of merengue, salsa, cumbia, and more. No prior experience necessary. Pre-registration highly recommended.
