COWORKING SPACE

Coworking spaces are collaboration hubs, or social spaces where workers from different backgrounds can come together to share their expertise, work, and explore new ideas. Working in collaborative space with other ex-perts can lessen feelings of loneliness and foster social connection. This can have a good impact on mental health by offering a sense of community and lowering feelings of loneliness.

Studies have shown reading helps reduce stress, likely because it requires concentration and focus. Reading is great for your health. Reading can even relax your body by lowering your heart rate and easing the tension in your muscles. By lowering your stress hormone, you can also lower your blood pressure and heart rate, helping you feel calm and ready for sleep. Reading is a great way to keep your mind engaged and improve your cognitive ability as you get older.

JASON RESIDENCE INTERNSHIP

PROJECT 1

This is a residencial Project at Thiruverkadu for Mr. Jason. This is extention project. The client wanted to extend this existing house with the near empty plot. The existing site area is 2230 sqft. We have tried to modify the existing plan with the proposed extended area plan. The existing house has a courtyard which we have extended to the Proposed plan creating double storey height with skylight dome above. In this project we have connected the exterior envirnment with indoor space by providing lawns, courtyard and terrace gardens.

14

A courtyard can improve a home’s natural lighting and ventilation in the middle of the building. They are also excellent for bringing an outdoor space within your house. The courtyards become aesthetically pleasing areas that also serve as sheltered little gardens by adding trees and greenery. Family members could feel linked throughout the day because to the courtyard’s ability to create connections between rooms and floors of a home.

16

HOME THEATER

The client wanted to create a movie-theater-like experience in his home with a bar counter added to it. Home theater room ideas include using a themed room, hidden surround sound, custom cabinets for extra storage, media display, leveled seating, a functional snack/drink bar and cove lighting. In order to watch movies and television shows, we wanted to design a comfortable environment. This entails setting up a quiet, dark area where you can relax and take in the movie or program.

18

ARJAVAM

INTERNSHIP PROJECT 2

ARJAVAM (meaning simplicity) - A residencial project in Shiroda, Goa. The plot area of the site is 6426 sqft and the builtup area is 1500 sqft. This project is oriented towards the concept of efficiency in design, climate responsive and locally available materials (Laterite construction) resulting in development of spaces that are a collaboration between contemporary and traditional. This project aims in creating spaces which are in sync with the environment and its surroundings with discrete use of elements.

20

Making nature visible within a building elevates the spirit. It serves as a visual connection between the indoor, the outdoors, and the natural environment. Verandah around the house work as a buffer between indoor and outdoor spaces while it act as a centre for activities during rainy season. Providing gardens and flower beds to alter the microclimate of the site.

03. INTERIOR DESIGN

The art of interior design entails making beautiful, livable spaces. I’ve always been moved by exquisite design and how it can change a room. I also enjoy working with clients to help them make their home-design dreams come true. I have been doing few projects as a freelancer while studying. By doing projects i’ve learned to visualize and sketch design plans as per client goals, sourcing products and materials, determining costs and inspecting construction to ensure alignment with design specifications are met.
