Clothing Storage Tips You Should Know When storing garments, the two biggest foes are moisture and insects. In order to prevent mould and mildew, make sure everything is completely dry before packaging. Add some moisture absorbers, which you can buy locally or online, just to be on the safe side. Below are some tips for clothing storage : 1. Packing: Use breathable containers, acid-free tissue, an old pillowcase, or a sheet to store clothing. Avoid leaving in plastic or outside in the sun.

2. Prepare for spring by spring-cleaning your closet to make room for new clothing. Take everything out of your modular wardrobe design, light some candles, open the windows, and clean, dust, and vacuum the space. To get rid of the bad vibrations, use the clearing and cleansing spray.

3. Use the appropriate hangers for the job. Your closet will resemble a shop if all the hangers match, and it is much simpler to see the clothes if they are all level. Try a nonslip hanger with rubber covering. 4. Before putting your shoes and boots in the shoe rack, polish and clean them all. That way, all it takes is a short rub to use them simultaneously.

5. Repairs and upkeep: If any buttons have come off, zippers have broken, certain garments' hems have dropped, or clothing has gotten too big or too tiny, have it altered and maintained. Nothing that needs work should be left in the closet because it probably won't be worn. else you'll discover that repairs are required as soon as you put it on to wear!

6. Cleanliness: Before storing anything, dry clean and wash everything. 7. Discard useless items or put them in "long-term storage." Be brutal. How recently did you last wear it? Swap it or, even better, give it to a person in need. As a rule of thumb, 2 new things in equal 2 old things out. It keeps things in the storage of your regular outfit.

8. Anti-Moth: Replace any anti-moth items that are over their expiration date (such as naphthalene balls), throw them away if they have been stored in a closet for more than a year, and purchase new supplies.
