Rajiv has obtained his bachelor of architecture from CEPT university, Ahmedabad. Between 2009 and 2013, he worked with IORA studio. During this period, he worked on a few independent projects also. He worked with KGD-architecture in bangalore from 2013 to 2021. He has worked on the most of the scales, from redesigning bathrooms to 50 acres resort. Rajiv has extensive experience of following projects from early program ideas to completed construction documents. He works with ideological clarity that combines deep understanding of people, places and plants.Design process is to explore and observe, reflect on the conditions of the projects to make the necessary decision. Open processes and a good dialogue with the customer are very important. Throughout the process, he maintains close contact with clients and places great value on being able to assist with advice and personal guidance.

In his work he seeks to value the natural resources of a place as opposed to dominating or destroying them, also to think about the best use of resources but not only those that have an energy impact on the project but also on cultural, climatic and human resources, which affect it. intrinsically.

50 acres of valley region in wayanad district is site with incredible view of chembra peak. With all the elements of natural landscape: streams, water body, ridges, boulders, marsh land, forest, flora and fauna, site is ideal for resort.

Building blocks are placed around artificially created seasonal lake with consideration of topographpy. High end pool villas are designed at location with view of neighbouring tea garden.

Terrace villas enjoy view of complete valley with distant tea garden and chembra peak from highest zone of the site. Pool villas and terrace villas enjoy privacy provided by topography of land.

Deluxe rooms and cottages are surrounded by dense tropical flora. Restaurant is designed to give impression of floating. 1000 people banquet facility is designed to cater current trend of destination wedding.

Just besides gorgeous Athirapally fall, project is one of the most interesting project. Half an acre land slopes 40 mt in 50 mt length, allowing un obstructed view of fall. 20 rooms with views were designed as per client’s brief. Off-site construction technologies were explored for the difficult site. Pool and other resort amenities are designed in relatively flat part of the site.

Ayurvedic resort at kunnukara was designed on 8.5 acre site facing Periyar river. Ayurvedic tourism of Kerala was at peak. Program for the resort was mix of resort, hospital and ayurveda college. Inspired

by Charles Correa’s Gandhi Ashram, Resort is design on grid system responding to river. Utilizing site gradient and some land formation, ground step downs towards river. Premium accommodation are placed along the river bank. Architectural language was mix of traditional Kerala and contemporary architecture.

Aragonda Community Center was CSR project for Apollo Hospital.

Founder of Apollo Hospital belongs to aragonda village. He wanted good health facilities, training center, community hall and meditation hall for the people village. Beautiful site of 4.30 acre is having hills with large boulders on north. Site was developed mostly on western side and keeping east part available for future expansion. Series of courts, mutually shaded in-between spaces was designed to create various scale of spaces, allowing different kinds of activities throughout the day. In response to hot climate of the place and to achieve minimum operation cost for the community center, openings and roofs were designed.

Geetanjali teaching hospital is 250 bed hospital campus.

Program consists of 250 bed teaching hospital, academic blocks, auditorium, 150 bed corporate hospital, hostel facilities. Parcel, opposite side of the road, is to developed for staff housing.

True north south orientation was kept to handle environmental concerns easily. Organization and size of the blocks were kept in a way to create mutual shading. Courts were created to have continuous active spaces in harsh climate of Jaipur.

Ajmal house is residential project of 5.70 acre in Thrissur, Kerala. Large party lawn with pavilion, multipurpose court, pool at terrace, water body between house and lawn, champa court, kund with pavilion, koi water body, internal court, vegetable garden etc elements are used to create multi-scaled landscape. Landscape was design to give each architectural space complimentary landscape space.

Scenery was manufactured carefully for each of the space to look at.

ADORA DE GOA is residential project of Provident group at Dabolim, Goa. Site area of the project is 28 acres.

Basic concept was for architecture and landscape was to have hint of portuguese architecture. To achieve the theme bright colors are used and some portuguese architectural elements were also used. The Blu is a (actually south) combination of multiple waterbodies like pool, kids pool, lazy river, aqua gym etc. It works as center of complete project and give sense of being closer to sea.

Other activities like auditorium/ open air movie theatre, multipurpose court, skating rink, sandbox for kids are also designed throughout the site.

Prestige Techno star is brown-field project. Client wanted to enliven the spaces in landscape area by introducing more F&B store. In addition to F&B, important aspect was to create more inviting spaces.

One of the corner facing cross road was designed with parametric structure which would be modular and expandable. It was designed to give special character to place, making icon/identity for the building.

Location of this intervention was perfect to create eye catching informal cafe. Form of the Cafeteria is also inviting for artist, creative people as well as employees working in building to get refreshing break.
