Most probably student life is very enjoyable stage of the all the other stages. If we ask old age person they will say that “you can enjoy your young age only”. Bible says that ‘Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity(1 Timothy 4:12). Now a days youth are facing so many struggles, fears and infiriaty complex. They need Christ Love. I would like to say that please pray for students life. Now a days students don’t know what is the purpose of life, which is created by god for the human being. O be careful little eyes what you see! “O be careful little eyes” is a sunday school song, primarly for the kids. But the message is for all ages and for all generations, the song goes like this:
“O be careful little eyes what you see O be careful little eyes what you see There's a Father up above And He's looking down in love So, be careful little eyes what you see” Science of Pornography:
Watch an hour of prime-time television and you have seen pornography. Drive past any number of billboards while on a trip and you have seen pornography. Look at the fashion posters in the clothing stores at the mall and you have seen it—in some form. Part of our problem is that we have either no clear definition, or a very limited definition, of pornography. Most of us think of it as something you find in some rundown bookstore, or maybe in a convenience store. Most of us realize the Internet has a reputation of being filled with it. But do we realize we are surrounded by it, like a hapless adventurer sinking in quicksand? We live in a pornographic culture. While dictionaries might define
RR Link November - 2014
pornography as pictorial or literary renderings of obscene material related to the sex act, it is much broader than that. Pornography is anything the heart uses to find sexual expression outside of God’s intended design for relational intimacy. It is anything that tempts and corrupts the human heart into desiring sensual pleasure in sinful ways. The extent of this in our society is overwhelming. Beer and soap commercials, as well as underwear ads, all use the human body in provocative ways to catch the attention of the audience. It is not so much that sex is used to sell products, but that products are being used to sell sex. A woman groaning erotically while having her hair washed in a TV ad is not encouraging us to think about clean hair, but about having a sexual encounter.
Science of Pornography:
Psychologist, Dr. Al Cooper, believed three main factors draw people into online sexual activity: 1.Anonymity: Home computers and smartphones have made it very easy to be secretive. 2.Accessibility: Pornography is accessible from any Internet connection.
2
3.Affordability: Millions of free or
very cheap images are available online. This anonymity, accessibility and affordability made the porn a daily routine for many: recent incident where an S.I was tapped at a temple and an MLA watching porn in the Assembly were the examples to show married and elderly people were also porn addicts. Porn among students is at its extremity. This is not very different for our believing students and graduates.
God wired the brain in such a way that it wants to remember where our natural drives are satisfied. If the body is thirsty, the brain’s job is to remember in vivid detail where water can be found, and dopamine is the neurotransmitter responsible for helping us remember where to satisfy our natural drives. When sexually stimulated, dopamine is released into a region of the brain responsible for emotion and learning, giving the viewer a sense of sharp focus and an awareness of craving: “I have got to have this thing; this is what I need right now.” Dopamine supplies a great sense of pleasure. The next time the viewer gets the itch for more sexual gratification, small packets of dopamine are released in the brain,
RR Link November - 2014
saying, “Remember where you got your fix last time. Go there to get it.” Continued exposure to porn, especially for long periods of time, releases surge after surge of dopamine, giving the brain an unnatural high. The brain eventually fatigues, limiting the release of dopamine, leaving the viewer wanting more but unable to reach a level of satisfaction. This is called desensitization. Everyday pleasures begin to lose their luster—including sex—and the viewer expands their pornographic tastes and seeks out more novel or harder pornography to get the same arousal.
Porn among students is at its extremity. This is not very different for our believing students and graduates.
James says sin begins in strong desire, but “sin when it is fully grown brings forth death” (James 1:14-15). Growing sin brings about all forms of death— death to pleasure, death to relationships, and ultimately eternal death. While the brain becomes desensitized to pleasure in general, it becomes hyper-sensitive to various sexual triggers. Dr. William Struthers offers a way to understand sensitization.
3
He writes: “Like a path is created in the woods with each successive hiker, so do the neural paths set the course for the next time an erotic image is viewed. Over time these neural paths become wider as they are repeatedly traveled with each exposure to pornography. They become the automatic pathway through which interactions with women are routed. The neural circuitry anchors this process solidly in the brain. With each lingering stare, pornography deepens the Grand Canyon-like gorge in the brain through which images of women are destined to flow. This extends to women that they have not seen naked or engaging in sexual acts as well. All women become potential porn stars in the minds of these men.”
The Apostle Paul vividly describes the never-ending lust people experience when cut off from the life of God. He writes, “They have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity” (Eph. 4:19, NIV). One act of lust leads to two, two leads to four, and four leads to an all-consuming desire. Its appetite is never satiated.
Normally, when emotions, impulses, and urges surge from the midbrain, the prefrontal lobes are there to exercise “executive control” over
RR Link November - 2014
them. But when this region is weakened by continual porn use, willpower is eroded and there is nothing to stop the sense of craving for pornography. As a result, the person experiences the urge, not just as a desire, but as an intense need. Neuroscientists call this problem hypofrontality. This person is no longer has mastery over his passions but is a slave to them.
Our brains are designed by God to weigh consequences and situations and judiciously choose when to allow cravings through, but hypofrontality means the porn-saturated mind has a very limited ability to do this. The prefrontal region is one of the things that makes humans unique— filled with rationality and conscience. For this reason, one could say that viewing porn, in a very real sense, makes us less human.
Desensitized to pleasure, sensitized to lust, and crippled in will power—these are some of the things modern science is unearthing about the effects of porn on the brain. Pornography is addictive. The women in porn are often coerced, sexually abused, and encouraged to use drugs. Porn use is contributing to divorce rates. All of these are true; however, it is important for Christians—and for human beings in general—to understand stand the

emotional involvement from sexual experience. But God has defined good sex as an expression of “oneness,” not emotional detachment (Gen. 2:24).

For married and single people alike, this means seeing one’s body not as his or her own, but as something to give as a gift to another (1 Cor. 6:19-20; 7:4).
Deception three: trains us to see
each other as sexual commodities: Watching porn lowers our view of women. It trains us to see women as sexual commodities, not people created in God’s image. But God created women in His image, and as such, women are worthy of great honor (Gen. 1:27; 1 Pet. 3:7).
Deception four: Watching porn desensitizes us to cruelty. It numbs us to the seriousness of verbal and physical aggression. But God has designed sex as an expression of affection, not aggression (Deut. 22:25; Eph. 5:28-30). God has promised to maintain the cause of the afflicted and destitute (Psalm 82:3; 140:12), and that includes those whose brokenness has led them to a life of prostituting themselves for the camera. God redeems prostitutes like Rahab and brings them into the fold of His people (Josh. 6:25). He forgives their sins and defends their honor (Luke 7:36-50). As the followers of Jesus Christ, we should do the same, instead of enjoying their sinning.
RR Link November - 2014
Deception five: Watching porn
makes us want to watch more porn. It taps into the neurocircuitry of our brains, making us desire the rush of sexual energy from porn again and again. But God redeems our warped sex drive so that sex is a holy act of love and giving, not selfishness and slavery (1 Cor. 13:4-7; Gal. 5:2223). Sex becomes our master when we believe the lie that porn tries to sell us: that sex is a “need.” If sex is a need, then we feel justified when we get mad at the world or at God for not giving us the sex or the kind of sex we so rightly deserve. But if sex is not a need, but rather a good desire, then we can set it alongside other good desires and go to the Word to understand its place.
For married men and women, this means surrendering our sexual desires to the Lord in a spirit of giving, not taking, and regularly returning to our spouse to be intoxicated with love (Song. 1:4; Prov. 5:18-20). For single men and women, this means surrendering our sexual desires to the Lord, practicing self-control, and using one’s undivided interests to serve the Lord (1 Cor. 7:32-35).

Way-out from the Addiction
For the follower of Christ, the ultimate goal is not merely “quitting pornography,” but is something far richer and more comprehensive. If merely modifying behavior was the most important thing, there are any number of psychological tips and tricks one can use. But for the Christian, as it should be for all people, the goal is not merely recovering from pornography, but being remade by God Himself into the image of the perfect Man, Jesus Christ.
This is the work of the Holy Spirit. Just as sure as pornography stirs up lustful cravings in us, the Holy Spirit is a source of new, holy cravings. Galatians fifth chapter says we who have the Holy Spirit have the “desires of the Spirit” (5:17). God promises that when we “keep in step with the Spirit,” the lusts of the flesh that lead to sexual immorality, impurity, and sensuality will not have their way in us (5:16, 25). We can become new men and women from the inside out.
What does it mean to keep in step with the Spirit of God, to walk in the Spirit?
1.We must walk in accountability where we can share our darkest secrets and be reminded of our highest calling.
RR Link November - 2014
To walk in the Spirit, we must confess our sins to each other, pray for each other, and stir up one another to live according to our true identity. 2.We must internalize Scripture, the inspired words of the Spirit. To walk in the Spirit, we need to renovate our thoughts according to the truths He has revealed, rejecting the lies pornography has fed us. 3.We must walk in pure pleasure, taking great delight in holy and wholesome longings—finding pleasure in all that is honorable, pure, lovely, and excellent. To walk in the Spirit, we need to pursue pure pleasures with sincere gratitude until pornography loses its luster. 4.We must walk in our true identity, listening to cry of the Spirit in our hearts, “Abba, Father,” which confirms our new identity. To walk in the Spirit, we need to learn to relate to God, from the depths of our soul, as dearly loved adopted sons and daughters, believing that we belong to God and that our ties to sin are broken forever. 5.We must stir up the hope the Spirit inspires in us—the hope of righteousness. To walk in the Spirit, we need to wait eagerly for this hope, putting faith in God’s promises that we are destined for an eternity of purity, and longing to see that purity spill over into our present lives.

Now a days youth...
The growth of our country and society depends on young men and women. Young age is a state where we have great energy, intelligence, strength, activeness, abilities and efficiency. For example, Einstein had established a thought about theory of relativity in the age of 26 years, Sachin Tendulkar entered in international cricket when was around 16 years and Mike Tyson had so many victories in he was young and became great boxer. Where ever we see in this world, young people are future icons of the country and future of the world is within in the hands of young students who ever studying in colleges, universities and institutes across the globe. In one word we can say that, God created human being such a way that young age will be more prominent in their life span. Young age is an intermediate stage to decide settlement, future and also destiny of their life depending on how they take decisions about life. When we see most of young boys and girls in these days, they are
RR-Link November 2014
running after the world. They have been misusing their strength for unnecessary things, for instance, drinking, smoking, pubs, prostitution, fashions, addiction to pornography, homosexuality etc. Every day, we have been watching in news about rape attempts upon innocent girls, many call girls were caught by the police men. Now a day’s unofficial sex became social evil to kill the people in various states of our country. When we observe these issues in TV channels and news papers of various kinds about students and others, it is actualized that young people have gone astray from the purpose of the life as mention in the Isaiah 53:6.
God has given freedom to man to do good things by the moral law in his heart. Instead, people misusing their freedom for their own self, consequently, their lives have been going into vain without having bright future. Small fact, in presence of teacher, student will be in control on what he -

is doing but when he left the class, student will misuse his freedom to make mistakes. Likewise, due to lack of relation with GOD, lot of people going astray by misusing their freedom. Misuse of freedom is sin, consequence of sin lead human being into eternal punishment, hell. Since student age is piracies and intermediate, therefore, we as disciples of Christ suppose to evangelize and save them from the bondage of sin through Christ. As we leading our lives in this world, we have been watching young people with different world views, ideologies and opinions about truth. Hence, we will have so many challenges to convince the people about truth and hope what we have Christ. In one sense, we are unable to answer and convincing to the questions of unbelievers. Unless we equipped to give answer effectively, we can’t make anybody to think in right direction. Unless they think
RR Link November - 2014
rightly, they can’t come to the knowledge of truth. So our role is to prepare ourselves in defending unbiblical world views with gentleness and respect as peter said in 1 Pet. 3:15 by the Holy Spirit God. Let us see few quarries posed by nonchristian students at University of Hyderabad as fallows. * How you answer scientifically to a person who believes in Evolution theory and Big bang theory? * Is God or discussion about God relevant today? * What do you say, if an atheist asks you, the reason for the sufferings and struggles in this world? * Can you defend an unbeliever with proper reasons in favor of Christ? Not only these, so many questions were arised by students from different back grounds like sciences, social sciences and technical to oppose the truth. As a result of this kind of questions, it should be noted that we need study not only Bible and also few concepts from Biology, Anthropology, Physics, Chemistry, Sociology, Philoshaphy, Psychology, History, yoga and Theology etc. In this case we should be strong enough in all areas to give right reason to all of their false arguments such a way that they think rightly and put their faith in Jesus Christ who died for the inequities of all mankind.

In this planet earth, we are just pilgrims and our eternity was hidden in Christ. God would like to redeem and give eternal life to all people through faith in him. Since God’s method is man, we as students and graduates will have to work efficiently to persuade our dear nonchristian friends by the help of Holy Spirit God who dwells in us.

We live in a broken world, surrounded by broken lives, broken relationships, and broken Rajesh Dupta systems. This broMA, HCU kenness is seen in the suffering, violence, poverty, pain, and death around us. Brokenness leads us to search for a way to make life work. In contrast to this brokenness, we also see beauty, purpose, and evidence of God's perfect design around us. God made each of us with a purpose-to worship Him and walk with Him. (Gen. 1:31; Ps.

The consequence of our sin is separation from God-in this life and for all eternity. (See Rom. 3:23; 6:23.) Simply hearing this good news isn't enough. We must admit our sinful brokenness and stop trusting in ourselves. We must ask God to forgive us, turning from sin to trust in Jesus. Believing, we receive new life through Jesus, and God turns our lives in a new direction.

Greatest Love, that anyone could ever know, Overcame the Cross and Grave to find my soul, Till I see you face to face Grace amazing Jayakar V Takes me Graduate, HCU. home, I'll trust in You. This is the hymn comes into my mind when ever I share my testimony to anybody. I grew up in a Christian family, so I'm surrounded by a lot of christian stuff from the very beginning of my life. I know everything just like any other name sake christian do know. My mother is a believer and she used to teach me about Jesus, Prayer, Faith kind of things. Apart form that My studies, I did my schooling and Intermediate studies in my village. I'm a rank holder in all my studies till Intermediate.
I came to know what really life is In my engineering studies in Vijayawada , no family members to take care and a lot of money in hand and a lot of useless friends out there to hangout. I just lost everything because of the freedom I've got. I came to understand one thing that a person whoever
RR Link November - 2014
might be waits for an oppurtunity to fullfil his desires. If he gets that chance then the real person comes out. The same thing happened with me. I just went on fullfilling my evil desires, interests and likenings. As a result a top ranker became a last bench guy, who always sleeps in the class and mocks everyone who comes across his way. Failed in all subjects, having no hope for future. I know I'm doing wrong and I do want to come out of it, but still I can't, I'm enslaved by the sin. I used to cry, sitting on the last bench, why I became like this, but nobody there to care me.
One day a senior of mine came to me and asked me to come to church, but I said no, he forced me to come, then I said ok because of the respect I've on him. The day I went to church, there God spoke to me directly that you are not doing what you are supposed to do and you've lost yourself. He said, come to me, I'll restore you. I don't know why, the very day pastor gave an alter call and unknowingly I responded to it, and you know what I'm SAVED. It was happend just like that and my life was started changing. I left every bad habbit I have and God completely freed me out of my sins and weaknesses. I passed all my backlogs and completed my engineering.

My professor was like amazed, and my friend whom I've commented was a christian and she was also stunned by the change that God has brought in my Life. And I'm very happy with that, later I came to HCU for my PG studies and you know this was a totally different story. If you want to describe HCU these things may help you, too posh, too desirable, too tempting, everything is at your finger tips. And being a believer with no fellowship, new to place, the best chance for devil to attack. And he attacked, the result I'm back slided. The evil habbits which I've left came again into my life and I started struggling in Christian life being a believer. One day a brother called me introducing himself to be some EU group and asked me to join their bible study. I said okay and I attended it, that was an EBS, speaker dealing with the life of Zacchias, so, that was not so ineresting and I stayed there till the end to show respect to speaker. Then later on, an EU brother spoke with me personally and I shared my life to him. The very time SPICON-2012 was being conducted by UESI-CT region. He forced me to come to that camp and I attended it. That's it, againg God spoke to me and I recommitted my life to him in SPICON. Then regular bible studies, I'm
RR Link November - 2014
the only guy who attended both english and telugu bible studies regularly my hostel and as I'm attending BBS cells, my Christian life became smooth. I attended DTC-13 and LTC13 and CMTC-13, back to back every camp and every bible study. You know why I've attended everything is God is speaking to me in every camp I attend and every BBS I attend. I came to see christian life in different perspective [in positive sense]. My life was good and God told me to be the part of EU committee for 2013-14 academic year and I've successfully completed my term as a Secretary. Then I've completed my PG and got a good software job. Everthing is, the Greatest Love, that loved me unconditionally and gave me everything I need. Even though I failed all the time his thrist to restore me is not stopped, I'll cry and say the Greatest Love. That love gave me UESI family to grow and have fellowship. I've always enjoyed the warmth of the fellowship and the Love and care they show upon me. Tears will roll out of my eyes when I share about the goodies that i've experienced in God through UESI. I'm very previleged to be a part to UESI, and I thank God for such a wonderful ministry in my Life.

for the students like me through UESI. It gave me the fellowship in campus which is very slippery for me and all. It encouraged and challenged me to live according to the Bible, through many people lives who are in the same place and condition. It taught me right teaching among so much confusion and also made me able to divide the word of God correctly. Not only that, It influenced me a lot and made me as a good student, friend, son, brother and good disciple to Lord Jesus Christ. Lord, thank you for your plan in my life through UESI; Enable me to carry this fire to my next generation.

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 17

A Dangerous schooling Word of God says that,“Jesus learned
obedience fromwhat he suffered” (Heb. 5:8). Now, if obedience directly followed suffering, it would be easy to learn. But learning obedience is not that easy. Humanly viewed, suffering is dangerous. But even more terrible is failing to learn obedience! Yes, suffering is a dangerous schooling, but only if you do not learn obedience – ah, then it is terrible, just as when the most powerful medicine has the wrong reaction. In this danger a person needs God’s help; otherwise he does not learn obedience. And if he does not learn this, then he may learn what is most corrupting:to learn craven despondency, learn to quench the spirit, learn to deaden any noble fervor in it, learn defiance and despair.Because the schooling of suffering is so dangerous, it is right to say that this school educates for eternity. This danger does not exist in any other school, but then there is not the gain either: the eternal. Of course, a person can learn a great deal without ever coming to know the eternal. He may learn how to cope outwardly, he may achieve amazing things in his suffering, encompass a mass of knowledge, understanding himself or hisdestiny. If in suffering

you do not learn obedience, you will continue to be a riddle to yourself. Suffering seeks to turn a person inward. If this happens, the school of suffering begins. You will not in despair mount a re-sistance, or seek to drown yourself and forget the suffering inthe world’s

distractions, in amazing enterprises or in indifferent knowledge. Admittedly, suffering often comes from the outside, but it is not until you take the suffering into your inner being that the schooling begins. Many sufferings can assault a person, and worldly sagacity knows many remedies in defense. But allthese remedies have the dismal quality that they save the body but kill the soul. They invigorate the body but deaden the spirit.Only inwardness, only in surrender can the eternal be gained.Only when a person suffers and wills to learn from what he suffers does he come to know something about himself and about his relationship to God. This is the sign that he is being educated for eternity. (PTO)

Through suffering a person can come to know a great deal about the world – how deceitful and treacherous it is – but all this knowledge is not the schooling of suffering. No, just as we speak of a child being weaned from his mother’s breast, so also, in the most profound sense, a person must be weaned by suffering, weaned from the things of this world, from loving it and from being embittered by it, in order to learn for eternity. For this reason, the school of suffering consists in a dying to a dying to the world and to yourself. And in this school the lessons are always quiet. Here the attention is not dispersed by many subjects. No, here only one thing, the essential thing, is needful. Only one thing is learned: obedience.Without suffering you cannot really learn obedience. Suffering is the very guarantee that obedience is not self-willfulness. Ordinarily we say that we must learn to obey in order to learn to be master, and this is indeed true. But we learn something even more glorious by learning obedience in the school of suffering. When this happens we learn to let God be master, to let God rule. And where else is this to be learned except in the school of suffering, where the child is weaned and selfwillfulness dies and we learn the difficult lesson that it is indeed God who

still rules, despite the suffering.
This is the key to finding rest in your suffering. There is only one way in which rest is to be found: to let God rule in everything. Whatever else you might come to learn only pertains to how God has willed to rule. But as soon as unrest begins, the cause for it is due to your unwillingness to obey, your unwillingness to surrender yourself to God.When there is suffering, but also obedience in suffering, then you are being educated for eternity. Then there will be no impatient hankering in your soul, no restlessness, neither of sin nor of sorrow. If you will but let it, suffering is the guardian angel who keeps you from slipping out into the fragmentariness of the world; the fragmentari- ness that seeks to rip apart the soul. And for this reason, suffering keeps you in school – this dangerous schooling – so that you may be properly educate for eternity.
