Imagination fuels learning in our pre-kindergarten classrooms. Whether it is through collaborative group play or a simple chance event like the discovery of an insect on the playground, everyday activities are viewed as exciting learning opportunities. Our youngest Saints thrive in a safe and secure environment where passionate educators are committed to their academic, social and character development. From first discoveries to lasting skills, NSA’s prekindergarten program provides students with a joyful introduction to the classroom experience and a solid foundation for the future.

Full Academic Day Pre-K2 and Pre-K3: $6,840 | 3 days a week Pre-K2 and Pre-K3: $7,840 | 5 days a week Pre-K4: $8,995 | 5 days a week For the 2018–2019 academic year
• Pre-K2: Must be 2 years old by September 30 of the enrollment year • Pre-K3: Must be 3 years old by September 30 of the enrollment year* • Pre-K4: Must be 4 years old by September 30 of the enrollment year*
*To enroll in this class, children must be fully toilet trained by the first day of school.
Extended Day Program Morning Care: Beginning at 7:00 a.m. Afternoon Care: Available until 6:00 p.m.

Our admissions process begins by building a relationship with your family. Each step is designed to get to know your child to determine his or her readiness for the pre-kindergarten program at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy.

Tour our Campus: Schedule a campus tour with the Office of Admissions or attend one of our open house events. We encourage you to bring your child. Submit an Application: Visit www.nsacademy.org/page/admissions/ admissions-process to get started. A non-refundable fee of $50 is required with each application. Complete Pre-Kindergarten Readiness Screening: This screening is scheduled by appointment with the admissions team. Admissions Review: After our Admissions Committee reviews your application, you will be notified of the admissions decision. Enrollment: To complete the admissions process, the online enrollment contract must be submitted along with the non-refundable enrollment deposit.

We could not have imagined the opportunity for growth that NSA’s pre-k program offered our son. He was immersed in an environment that allowed him to explore, learn and grow while encouraging creativity, independence and collaboration. The teachers, assistants and staff are passionately devoted to early childhood development and innovative ways to encourage children to learn. NSA’s investment in our son exceeded our expectations.
