Memorial gifts
Andy Reynolds is a man who created his legacy every day in words and actions, in leadership and purpose and investing in young people as the next generation of leaders.
Andy LOVED attending the Rainier Scholars annual luncheon. First introduced to the program by Brenetta Ward, Andy and his wife Donna Stringer became avid supporters and advocates. Always looking to contribute to organizations that benefit social change and nonprofits that are sustainable, Andy believed in the transformative power of education and the investment in young people of color.
In his four plus decades in Seattle, Andy was dedicated to the community, serving on boards and being a part of the very first class of Seattle’s Leadership Tomorrow. According to his wife Donna “Andy has been particularly vocal over the past several years about the need to support the next generations, believing that social justice and climate control are now in their hands. He was adamant about the need to mentor, coach and support young people and felt that Rainier Scholars is doing an outstanding job at this.”
Andy chose once again to match his actions with his beliefs. Rainier Scholars was included in his estate plan and is one of three organizations receiving memorial gifts in his honor. A trailblazer, an advocate, a community voice for the underrepresented, a believer in youth of color as future leaders…Andy built his legacy each day with how he lived his life and the choices he made. We are proud to be a part of his lasting legacy to this community.
