The Parks & Recreation youth swim team in Dawson County is an outsourced program, coordinated and operated by Dawsonville Racers Swim Team. The Dawsonville Racers purpose is to provide a structured summer athletic activity for the children of our community. The Racers provide opportunities for each participant to develop a positive self image. Opportunities are provided to participate in competitive swimming through venues of Dual meets, North Georgia Swim League (NGSL) meets and Divisional/State Meets.

• Ages 5-18 • At Veterans Memorial Park

• Registration Fee: $150

• Practices begin in May: Monday-Thursday mornings

• Meets begin in June: Saturdays

• District Meet is 1st week of July

• State Meet is 3rd weekend of July

Some travelling will be necessary for this activity. Admission fees will be charged at some events associated with this activity.
