Modernized congklak, Indonesian traditional toy. In this modern era, congklak old-styled toy is no longer appealing to the public, and traditional toys have started to be forgotten. Doelanan’s presence is to bring back the traditional culture and game of congklak, to attract the society to appreciate and taste Indonesian culture and allowing older generation to be nostalgic in a more rejuvenated way . In the past, this toy was played by kids or adult, whether they are villagers or the royals. This game taught us life lessons about taking and giving, reaping what we sow, how to be smart, honest, sportive and the importance of togetherness.

Made of pine wood, hand cut, hand sanded with a help of CNC for the holes.
