Sam Wood is an English artist living and working in London.
Working mostly in soft pastels and oils on paper, Sam Wood’s artworks explore the natural world and the urban environment, with subject matter ranging from sprawling botanical gardens to grand hotels and architectural sites.
His exhibition with Gloucester Room last year was inspired by an extended painting trip to the French and Italian Riviera. Later this year, an exhibition featuring works inspired by Wood’s recent travels across Morrocco will open at Gloucester Room.
Wood ‘s work is featured in private collections and is showcased in collaborations with luxury brands and design studios worldwide.
