The Railway Industry Assocation (RIA) will be supporting more than 30 companies on the UK Pavilion at InnoTrans, along with a reception at the British Embassy in Berlin. Exports Director Neil Walker explains how RIA is promoting UK Rail expertise and products to international markets.
Championing a dynamic UK rail supply sector It is great to see the UK rail supply community at InnoTrans 2026, the world’s largest international trade fair for rail transport technology, in its 30th anniversary edition, helping to bring together the global rail industry. For RIA, InnoTrans is an important opportunity to champion RIA member and UK company expertise, innovation and capability on this international stage. Working with our partners, we are helping to support more than 30 companies on the UK Pavilion in Hall 2.2, and it is encouraging to see many other RIA member and UK companies showcasing their technologies and services across the various halls and outdoor display areas. Whether you are a UK company looking to export, or an overseas supplier keen to learn more about the UK rail market or source products and services from our member companies, RIA can help. It is all part of our mission to champion a dynamic UK rail supply sector. At RIA, we are helping to grow a sustainable, high-performing railway while promoting UK rail expertise and products to international markets, whether that is on the UK Pavilion at InnoTrans or at one of the many other international rail exhibitions in which we participate with our partners. Export promotion is not limited to rail exhibitions. RIA also helps to organise railway trade missions around the world with the UK Government, bringing together UK companies and members to visit clients and stakeholders in their offices and home markets.
