CHEERING EXCITEDLY, seniors make noise when their class is called in the First Day of School Pep Rally. On Aug. 15, seniors wore their red shirts and red crowns, radiating their senior energy. “I loved how much energy and spirit we all had on the first pep rally. It was definitely a good way to spend my last one,” senior Julia Fogel said.

PLAYING DRESS-UP, sophomore Elizabeth Rodriguez acts as Marquis de Lafayette in her AP US History class for a “speed-dating” activity. Students acted as historical figures and talked to each other, deciding whether or not they would be compatible based on each other’s beliefs and ideals. Some students chose to dress-up to embody their historical figures even more.

LOCKED IN, seniors Cristobal Garcia and Thomas Avellan adjust and construct a rocket. They specifically fixed the engine of the rocket. During fourth period rocketry class, students worked on this project all year long, launching the rocket in spring.

Senior Bella Burns’ work on Alzheimer’s made an impact beyond our school walls.

Our architecture students designed models to bring their visions to life.

Senior Donovan Haynes used his art as a voice after a traumatic brain injury.

We don’t just prepare for the future, shape it.

STUDENTS EMBRACED THEIR PASSIONS IN DIFFERENT WAYS, whether it is biology, ceramics, or engineering. Juniors Isabel McGinnis and Balthasar Laemmli use model molecules to create structures, sophomores Raffaella Agnelli and Eva Schnur made ceramic bowls, and engineer students crafted Go Karts. “I really enjoy all my classes, especially ceramics because I get to add my creativity and think outside the box with what I want to do,” Schnur said.

PROTECTING THE BALL, sophomore Evan Vineberg dodges the defender to get his hands free for either a shot on cage or a pass to his teammate. The Boys Lacrosse team had their first pre-season game against Columbus on Feb. 5 and had high hopes for the season. “The hopes I have for this season are winning regionals, then moving forward to states. We are nowhere near our potential and once we reach it, we will be great,” Vineberg said. Photo by Kajsa Brion.
