ROYAL AIR Force musicians and The King’s Colour Squadron brought precise footwork and skill to the esplanade during The Massed Military Bands display at this year’s Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. An 8,600-strong crowd packed the Edinburgh Castle parade ground as the three-week military bonanza kicked off, led by the RAF. This year’s event, titled ‘A Call to Gather’, features military bands and personnel from across the world showcasing their ceremonial skills, alongside the UK Forces performers.
