RAFI MICROFINANCE WELCOMES NEW CEO TOM KOCSIS

Last April 16, 2024, a welcome dinner of RAFI Microfinance’s new CEO Tom Kocsis was held at Casa Gorordo Museum - Garden ground.

June 2024, a town hall meeting was held welcoming the new CEO Tom Kocsis titled “Itanong kay Tom”.

RAFI Microfinance had their MOU and MOA signing with Tamang Alaga and InvestEd on April 24, IPI Foundation, Inc. on April 26, Southwestern University PHINMA (SWU PHINMA) on June 26, and had a renewal of of their partnership with USJ-R on June 25. The MOA and MOU Signing events aim to continue its mission in elevating the lives of microentrepreneurs, their family and the community. Making it an avenue of inspiration and serve the least, the last, and the lost.

RAFI Microfinance (RAFI MFI) held a Community Outreach Program (COP) at Cebu Technological University - Danao Branch on May 11 and at Asturias Central Elementary School - Cebu South on May 18, Talibon Cultural Center - Bohol on June 15, and at Jaro Cultural Gym -Jaro, Leyte on June 22, offering diverse services for free along with InvestEd, Tamang Alaga, and PhilHealth Konsulta — to cater every clients’ needs.

“Isa sa pinaka highlights ko sa RAFI Microfinance is wala silang deskriminasyon sa antas ng edukasyon nakuha mo.” Reymart Arrojo, Area Head of Bicol 4, shared his journey from being a security guard to applying at RAFI Microfinance (RAFI MFI) and now elevating lives in Bicol as their Area Head.

“Basta mahalin mo lang ang trabaho mo, at mag tiyaga.” Reymart has been RAFI MFI for over 5 years now, and continues to serve the least, the last, and the lost.

OTHER EVENTS

RAFI Microfinance has been honored with the Asian Development Bank Fintech for Inclusion Transformation Award (ADB FIT) in the Microfinance Category last June 14, 2024. This prestigious recognition highlights RAFI Microfinance’s commitment to financial inclusivity by modernizing processes through advanced technology.

The KaagaAPPay Mobile Application, a cornerstone of RAFI Microfinance’s innovation, offers clients ease and convenience in accessing a wide range of products and services. Alongside RAFI Microfinance, other microfinance institutions, Alalay sa Kaunlaran Inc. and Tulay sa Pag-Unlad, were also awarded for their contributions to financial inclusivity.

The Talent Development Institute of RAFI Microfinance launched the 2024 Faculty of Trainers Bootcamp, a two-day learning session held from June 26-27. Participants from various departments attended the bootcamp, which focused on Training Needs Analysis, Learning Design, Instructional Design, Effective Facilitation, and Learning Evaluation & Effectiveness.

RAFI Microfinance launched its website last June 25, 2024 — taking another significant step forward with a fresh, user-friendly, and innovative online presence.

BRAND CASCADE

Upholding and embodying RAFI MFI’s brand and mission in elevating lives.

Last June, the Brand Development Group (BDG) launched the Brand Cascade across 46 branches in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The Brand Cascade is designed to align our staff with the organization’s proper branding standards.

All 308 branch signages were also updated to the new layout to ensure uniformity in the rebrand.
