As always, ANZ Bloodstock News will be on the ground at each of the major sales, covering all of the stories that break over the next few weeks and months. This begins with the traditional curtain-raiser, the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
Last year’s auction was one of the last bastions of normality before the Covid-19 pandemic emerged, wreaking havoc in its path.
This year, the sale will be held under conditions that can only be described as the new normal: no handshakes or hugs, minimal celebrations, restricted yelling and shouting.
Still, plenty will be flocking to the Gold Coast's sun-drenched climes for what will be the most “normal” sale to be held in the southern hemisphere in almost 12 months. All while socially distancing, of course.
