This upgrade aims to increase the network's scalability and reduce transaction fees by allowing more transactions to be processed per second.

Another solution involves the use of Layer 2 scaling solutions, such as Optimistic Rollups and Zero-Knowledge Rollups. These technologies offload some transaction processing from the main Ethereum blockchain to secondary layers, thereby reducing congestion and lowering fees.

Despite these advancements, the challenge of managing Ethereum transaction fees remains complex. It requires not only technical innovation but also careful consideration of economic incentives and user behavior. As the crypto space evolves, finding a sustainable balance between network capacity, security, and affordability will be crucial.
