Coach Sara Rostedt is in her fifth year with the VHS Girls and Boys Diving teams.
HEAD DIVINGCOACHCOACH
Coach Joe Shore swam for Albany State in college. He was a team captain and a twotime NCAA qualifier. He continued to swim after college with U.S. Masters Swimming, earning a World Record, a National Championship and three All-America HeHonors.hasbeen the boys’ team head coach at VHS for the past 26 years and in 2021 took over as the girls’ team head coach. Coach Shore has guided the Golden Bears to seven sectional titles and four runner-up spots and has an impressive record of 135 wins to 60 losses in his coaching career!
Coach Rostedt dove for Maine-Endwell High School and, since graduating, pursued a desire to share her knowledge and techniques with area teams. She is so happy to be part of VHS Diving Teams!

Advice for the team: Don’t ever stop. Ever. Don’t ever give up. Keep swimming in and out of the pool, you are so much stronger than you know. Life can suck sometimes, but keep the mentality that tomorrow is always a new day. I love all of you, never hesitate to reach out!
