DELIVERING THE ‘WOW’ MOMENT

As we approach the half-way mark in 2023 it’s a great time to reflect on how we’re tracking to our plans for the year and what adjustments we need to make in order to achieve our goals. It’s been a challenging first half of the year, but there are many signs of improvement in our market. In any event, every kind of market presents opportunities –sometimes we just need to work harder to find them.

We’ve recently completed our three Harcourts HX Conferences across South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia – and it’s great to see the Harcourt culture thriving. A huge congratulations to all the award winners! It’s always special to recognise excellent achievement.

So, what will the rest of 2023 bring you? For some in South Africa and New Zealand you’ll be managing change as you move on to a new CRM. Embrace the change to get the most out of it. For all of us, our ability to adapt to our markets and the needs of our clients will determine our success.

As always, going “back to the basics” yields results. Prospect, make the connections, focus on listings, and educate Sellers and Landlords on market feedback. The best in the business do more of this and do it well.

We’re really focusing on the Finest Experience this year. So, what are those opportunities to deliver those “wow” moments to our clients, our business partners, and our colleagues? It doesn’t take much to deliver a moment that gets into peoples’ hearts. A phone call, a text, a hard-written card, a moment to show we care – the opportunities are endless. Let’s make it a goal to deliver one “wow” moment to someone each week. Think of the collective power of everyone in Harcourts doing this and the impact it will make!

As a closing thought, reflect on our Harcourts Values and what they mean. When we live the values we show our character, even in tough times, and we show what we’re all about.
