Amplifier Art is a nonprofit media lab building campaigns to amplify the most important movements of our times.
In the midst of the Covid-19 global pandemic, the organization hosted a design competition for artwork aimed at increasing awareness of ways to combat the spread of the disease and bolstering global wellbeing. A partner in the competition was the Wellbeing Project, a non-profit dedicated to mainstreaming a wellbeing and social change narrative, focused particularly on the inner well-being of global changemakers. My poster, ‘there’s no quarantine on kindness’ was chosen as a winning entry by Amplifier Art and the Wellbeing Project, and was promoted on social media and in the real world, including as part of large public installations in Seattle, Washington.

NASA held a contest to create an infographic poster celebrating 20 years of the international space station. It was the responsibility of the designer to research and present data on the ISS, with complete graphic freedom. My poster was one of two chosen winners.

BajaBee is a small business in Slovakia making nature-friendly beeswax wraps and bags for food products. I was commissioned by the company to produce both still and animated graphics for a social media campaign.

I have been collaborating for many years with North Star Ballet, a non-profit school and dance company based in Fairbanks, Alaska. I produce event posters and program booklets each year for their two annual performances, in addition to a variety of fundraising merchandise such as t-shirts, stickers, and cards. The design brief is typically quite well-defined; my job is to execute the vision of the organization. They continue to be very satisfied customers each year.

In this ongoing collaboration, I create cover art for the original sheet music of Jamie Thierman, a Los Angeles-based composer. I have completed six pieces to date, including letterhead and business card artwork, in both print and digital media. Pieces are inspired by the musical compositions; the client allows for ample creative freedom.
I have undertaken many small commissions for a variety of organizations, including non-profits, local administrations, service providers and small businesses. Displayed here are examples of my work for the University of Alaska Museum of the North (1.), the Tartano Municipality in northern Italy (2.), Sunrise Bagel and Espresso (3.), a local coffee shop in Fairbanks, Alaska, and MOC Clinic (4.) in New South Wales, Australia.
