This course provides an in-depth exploration of both quantitative and qualitative research methods as applied to nursing practice. Students will learn how to design, conduct, and critically evaluate nursing research by understanding various methodological approaches, data collection techniques, and data analysis strategies. The course covers key topics such as formulation of research questions, sampling procedures, measurement tools, statistical analysis, and qualitative data interpretation. Emphasis is placed on the ethical considerations in research, as well as the application of evidence-based practice to improve patient care and outcomes.
