Human Anatomy and Physiology explores the structure and function of the human body at both the macroscopic and microscopic levels. This course covers the major organ systems, their interrelationships, and how they contribute to maintaining homeostasis. Topics include cellular organization, tissues, the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Emphasis is placed on understanding how physiological processes are integrated and regulated, and how disruptions can lead to disease. Laboratory components often complement theoretical learning by offering hands-on experiences in observation, dissection, and physiological experimentation.
