Forensic Anthropology (Introduction Level)
Final Exam

Course Introduction
This course introduces students to the fundamental principles and practices of forensic anthropology, focusing on the application of anthropological methods and techniques to medico-legal contexts. Students will explore human osteology, methods of identifying age, sex, ancestry, and stature from skeletal remains, and the processes of trauma and pathology analysis. Topics will also include an overview of the role of forensic anthropologists in criminal investigations, mass disasters, and human rights cases, as well as ethical considerations in the field. Through lectures, case studies, and hands-on exercises, students will gain an understanding of how biological anthropology assists in the identification and interpretation of human remains.
