The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program is designed to equip students with the foundational knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to provide quality care to patients in a variety of healthcare settings. This course covers essential topics such as basic nursing principles, infection control, patient safety, personal care procedures, effective communication, and the legal and ethical responsibilities of a CNA. Through a combination of classroom instruction, lab practice, and supervised clinical experience, students will develop competence in assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and working as part of a healthcare team. Upon successful completion, students are prepared to take the state certification exam and pursue employment as a CNA in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and home health environments.
