What job did you think you would have when you were younger?

“I think I wanted to be a paleontologist or a veterinarian!”

What are some of the responsibilities you have as a teacher?

“Oh there are many...like grading and planning lessons, state mandated paperwork and continuing education or professional development, attending meetings. But everything we do is for the students!”

Do you have any pets?

“Yes I have three cats. I love animals!”

What do you like and dislike about teaching eighth graders?

“I like teaching 8th graders because they are ready for more challenging content, they're serious about learning and their success, and we have a lot of fun in class! The only part I don't like about teaching 8th graders is that they leave PMS at the end of the year, and I won't get to see them in the building next year. I'm really going to miss the class of 2023...they're really special to me.”

What is your favorite book/TV show/movie?

“Funny you should ask about my favorite book...I was just talking about this with some of the 8th grade teachers. Its hard to say which is my favorite book because there are so many that I've loved reading, but the first that comes to mind is called The Goldfinch by Donna Tarte.

“I love Ted Lasso on Apple TV!!!! It's almost the end of season three...the last season, sadly.

“My favorite movie if I had to choose one is The Princess Bride.”

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?

“I think I'd travel to ski in the French Alps or to relax on the beach in the south of France...Cannes or Nice or Antibes. Anywhere in France really!”
