High School Musical Junior By Sabrina Fu Spring 2022 -High School Musical Junior at Princeton Middle School pays homage to the treasured 2006 film that the production was based on. A congratulations to both Blue and Gold casts. Their performances were well choreographed and executed. It remains clear that the students (and teachers) participating in this production worked their hardest and did their best. Both nights of the Blue and Gold casts were excellent. Personal favorite scenes of mine were the auditions, bows, and stick to the status quo. Which also happens to be the favorite scene of some of the cast members who had fun filming it. Jacob Zacks, who played Ryan in the Blue cast production of the show, says that his favorite was “Stick to the status quo, because the camera angles were cool and everyone was there together.” Overall, the show was a cool and interesting adaptation that was fun to watch.

Oboe: The Hidden Gem of Band Instruments: how would one define an instrument? An instrument, defined by Merriam-Webster, is “a device used to produce music.” (“Instrument Definition & Meaning”) If one were to observe a band or orchestra, what instrument would be the one that stands out the most? The one that would be favored by the general public? The one with the most lines? Or would it be the most elegant, versatile instrument that surprisingly acts as the backbone of the band? The one whose luring melodies mesmerize them all? The one whose every note touched the heartstrings of the listener? The one that could play both the role of the plucky unyielding tone of a march, sing the soft, mellow tone of a ballad, perhaps even capture the upbeat and free feeling associated with jazz? One may consider this mystery instrument to be the flute. However, that is wrong. The hidden gem of all band instruments, the oboe, is the perfect match. But perhaps one may wonder if an oboe even is an instrument, as sadly, it is not popular amongst band students. Although the oboe is not as popular as some other instruments, it holds great significance in an ensemble. The origins of an oboe can be traced back to the mid 17th centuries in France. Two French court musicians, Jacques Hotteterre and Michel Philidor, invented an instrument that would soon be called the oboe. (“oboe | Definition, History, & Facts | Britannica”) At first, the early form of the oboe had a significantly less bright tone compared to that of the tone it is associated with nowadays. It was intended to be played alongside string instruments indoors, and had a tone that was described to be tender and lighthearted. Following its growing popularity in France, more developed and advanced oboes were created in Germany. This style of the oboe started growing more popular until a novel mechanism of the oboe was discovered back in France. Shortly after, the renowned German composer, Richard Strauss, claimed that he preferred the French mechanism, which was ultimately adapted to be the common day 7 oboe.

What Would Happen If The Earth Lost Oxygen For 5 Seconds Emil Kapur If the Earth lost oxygen for 5 seconds, life on Earth would face severe consequences. Here are some ways why this would be a big problem: Everyone under direct sunlight would get serious burns on their body. One of the many reasons why oxygen is important to us is that it helps protect our skin to UV rays (radiation from the Sun). This is why, without oxygen, people would get burned. Every building made from concrete would turn to dust immediately. Concrete is known to be a very strong, rigid solution for buildings. Even though it is, oxygen is one of the main ways that the concrete stays rigid. So, without oxygen, the concrete would turn to dust. Oceans would evaporate. Because water is ⅓ oxygen and ⅔ hydrogen, if oxygen disappeared, the hydrogen would become a gas and expand. This would remove almost all the water from the Earth, including the oceans.

Woodfield Reservation is a 150-acre wooded area with streams, slopes, and other geological features. It can get muddy after it rains, but there are several boardwalks throughout the trail. The trail features a boulder, sometimes called “kids’ rock”, which is good for mild rock-climbing.

"Who’s joe?" a distant voice asks.
The Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that Progressive (Insurance)ly gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 centimeter pacer test will begin when you get into Harvard. Curve up at the end. The running speed starts quickly but gets slower each minute you don't go to Harvard. A double lap should be incompleted each time you don't hear this sound. [Y YOU A FAILURE GO TO HAIL] Remember to not run in a straight line, and run as short as not possible. The twelfth time you succeed to not complete a lap after the sound, your test will begin. The test will end on the word start. After my mark, don't get ready, the end.
Instantly everyone nearby hears the sound of 1,000s of bricks rapidly shuffling towards his location. The earth itself seemed to cry out in agony, until finally the ground itself split open and a horrific creature crawled from the ground, covered in mucus and tar. ”Joe Momma…” the creature whispered. . FIFA WORLD CUP . The 2022 Fifa World Cup will be held in Qatar from Mon, Nov 21, 2022 – Sun, Dec 18, 2022.
How FIFA Works There are 32 teams that have qualified for Fifa. They are then put into eight groups of four by a random draw. Once Fifa begins, each team plays the other three teams in the group once. A win is worth 3 points; a tie, 1 point; and a loss, 0. The two teams with the highest total point total at the end of the three games move on to the knockout matches. In the knockout rounds it is when the soccer fans get bloodthirsty. When the players are in the team groups of four they could tie or even lose but keep playing but during the knockout rounds the losing team is immediately eliminated which raises the stakes. A soccer game has 2 parts each 45 minutes which makes the full game 90 minutes long. In the knockout game if it is still a tie after the 90 minutes the knockout match goes into 30 minute overtime. If the game it still a tie it goes into penalty kicks. The thrill of every players move and the high stakes make FIFA so exhilarating to watch.

Group C From Group C, I expect Mexico and Argentina to definitely move on. Saudi Arabia and Poland are lower on the rankings so I don't think they have a chance. (we stan messi) Group G With Brazil on top of the World Cup Rankings we expect Neymar to appear at the World Cup better than ever. He was out during their first two matches of the year because of an ankle injury. The soccer star sadly revealed that World Cup 2022 will be his last but everyone expects Brazil to dominate Group G and maybe win a sixth World cup for the country. (we stan neymar) Group F In Group F the teams I expect to move on to knockout matches are Belgium and Croatia. Belgium is second in the Fifa rankings and is a great team overall and has spent about 3 years at the top of the World cup rankings in the past. Croatia was the runner up to France in the 2018 World Cup but it is only at 18 in the rankings at the moment . Group D The teams I expect to move on from Group D, are France and Denmark. France is most promising because they won in 2018 and currently ranks 3rd in the FIFA rankings. Denmark ranks 11 currently on the FIFA rankings and I think they have a good chance of making it to the knockout matches. Group E In Group E the teams i expect to move on are Spain and Germany. Spain is currently ranked 7th and Germany is ranked 12th. These predictions are just my opinion and i have limited knowledge of national teams so pls bear with me. 😅

The Savage Monster Rookies ÆSPA

æspa is a K-pop girl group from SM Entertainment that debuted with the hit song “Black Mamba” in 2020. The group consists of members Karina (leader), Giselle, Winter, and Ninging. Ningning and Winter are part of the talented and stable vocal line, and Giselle and Karina are the rappers. They are known for their unique AI concept (science fiction). They also have AI characters for each of the members, and there is supposed lore for their M/Vs. Each of their comebacks (except for Forever which literally nobody talks about) has blown up and transformed the 4th Generation of K-pop, setting trends left and right. Although there are many æspa haters, their music has become very prominent in girl groups and are now a K-pop classic. Their music style is very interesting and intriguing, and should influence K-pop for years to come! Some examples of their hit songs include Savage, Next Level, Black Mamba, Iconic, etc.

Short Stories “The Sunset”, Angela Zhang, 7th Grade Darkness had enclosed Cecilia’s world since the beginning of her memories. Instead of the light most children would find themselves surrounded with, Cecilia’s world consisted of swirling sounds, no image to associate themselves with. However, Cecilia’s murky world would always brighten whenever her parents told her a story. Although Cecilia could not exactly see the scenery described, her imagination would fill her head with bubbling fantasies. When Cecilia was six, her parents had taken her to a beach where she had found a seashell. Its textured touch had intrigued her. Cecilia remembered clutching the shell as the warm sand under her started gradually cooling down. Her mother had whispered in her ear, “You feel that, Ceci? That is the sunset. Just like how it rises, the sun has to eventually set,” she continued. “The entire sky turns into magnificent shades of glowing crimson and gold, showing us the last of the sun’s warmth before it sets.” The gentle breeze blew Cecilia’s hair out of her face as seagulls sounded overhead. Cecilia listened, captivated by the moment. Her mother had placed her seashell in a small silky box. Whenever Cecilia’s world felt dull, she would open the box, lightly tracing her fingers over the shell as she dreamed of a world of beauty. Over time, Cecilia had formed a collection of objects: a smooth heart-shaped pebble and a slender feather from a peacock. And then she was told that she could get a corneal transplant. Cecilia had felt ecstatically elated--after years of living in a sightless world, she could finally have a chance to be able to see. She carefully packed her cherished objects, placing them all into a bigger box. Hugging the box tightly to her chest, she knew that the first things she would want to see would be her collection. BAM! She felt the entire car lurch and flip violently. The sound of shattered glass deafened Cecilia. Her entire body burned with excruciating pain. The only thing she could feel was her precious box, now all sticky. Each box had a story. But this one is now over.

What’s your ideal Sunday evening? I bet that getting chased by angry police officers isn’t on your list. This, however, happens to me daily, but today they were really angry. All I did was steal some kid’s dream, and now they’re provoked? Really? “Stop right there, Dream Catcher!” An officer shouted deafeningly. The police were getting closer. The echoes of their footsteps rang through the air. My heart pounded as I darted from a rooftop to a fire escape, barely grasping the railing. I pulled myself over, and started scaling the stairs seven at a time, clutching a precious roll of film. Well, it wasn’t just any roll of film. It was a dream. It’s true. I’m known as the Dream Catcher, the ruthless criminal who robs people of their dreams. Whatever. Seriously, they’re just meaningless midnight thoughts. People should be thankful that I’m stealing them. I reached the top of the staircase, which led to a spacious balcony. I crawled under a table and covered myself with a lacy tablecloth. Now was the time to rest. Peering at the dream in my hand, I frowned. I had never bothered examining any dreams before actually stealing them. Why not take a look? I unrolled the film and watched the dream unfold. It was about a boy being bullied by his classmates. As they jeered at him, he turned into a vicious robot, and punched the bullies! His imagination began to run wild with fury. The dream was vivid with colors and emotions. Within moments, the dream blurred as it faded away. I gasped in shock. The dream was over, but it had left me shaken. I studied the little boxes on the roll of film. Each box had a story. A story that I had carelessly stolen. Those stories could have influenced reality. I sighed, knowing what had to be done. Hesitantly, I left the roll of tape on the table. Just as the police reached the balcony, I leaped silently into the night sky, hoping that one day that dream story would make it back to its author. 2 5
