The Rise of the Viral Word Game: By Elina Frank

How to play

Example:

The goal of Wordle is to guess the word in under six guesses. Each day, a random five-letter word is selected. The player must take a guess of any five-letter word, and the letters will show up different colors. Grey means the letter is not in the word, yellow means it’s in the word but in a different spot, and green means it’s in the right spot. Good luck!

I first started with a word that has common letters. Then, I tried to figure out what letters went in between the ‘t’ and ‘e’. I did this with the word ‘probe’, as I felt some of those letters could have gone there. After I saw that an ‘o’ goes third, I took a guess what the final letter would be based on what letters I hadn’t used already. The result was the word ‘stove’.

(I didn’t happen to get any yellow letters this time.)

What Would Happen If The Moon Disappeared If the moon disappeared one day, life on Earth would face severe consequences. Here is what would happen to different things on Earth if the moon simply disappeared:

The oceans: Since the oceans rely on the moons for the changes in tide, we would have much smaller tides. This would affect the lives of some sea animals badly.

The animals: Many predatory animals who prey at night rely on the nightlight of the moon would be very confused and may go extinct. If they do go extinct that would affect the whole ecosystem.

The seasons: Since the moon helps keep the Earth’s orbit tilted, if the moon

Conspiracy: Water Powered Car In Grove City, Ohio on the 21st of March 1998, an Inventor named Stanley Meyer was seated at a restaurant and was served some cranberry juice. Immediately after he takes a sip, he gets up, grasps his neck, and runs out to the parking lot. His last words were, “They poisoned me.”

Background Stanley Meyer was born on August 24th, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio.

After he completed high school, he joined the military. He owned many different patents, on many various topics. Even banking, oceanography. In 1989, the patent office gave Stanley special liking because of his inventions, and most of them were accepted.

While the patents were being filed, Meyer worked at the Battelle Foundation in Ohio.

In 1975, oil prices were extremely high. It was during the Arab Oil Embargo so Saudi Arabia was cutting its oil to the United States.

So Stanley went looking for another way to power cars. And the thing he thought of was water.

The Engine Stanley then started working on this car that would revolutionize the transportation industry and the world as we know it. So fast forward some time after that, Meyer had created the first hydrogen powered fuel cell engine. (or so he claimed…) He said that the engine could be powered by water using electrolysis. This meant that the world’s dependence on fossil fuels could reduce an unimaginable amount. This could also eliminate the threat of climate change.

Disclaimer: This is not an attempt to spread fake news and is harmless speculation. :) { also the coroner said was no poison in his body }

The Prototype A few months after development of the engine, Meyer built a buggy powered by the engine to go with the fuel cell. Some accounts also say that he built an electric cell which split tap water into its basic atoms, hydrogen and oxygen with even less energy required. Meyer showed his car off to many influential people and everyone who saw it marvelled at the concept.. Meyer claimed that the car could even travel cross-country with as little as 75 liters of water.

When his car was popularised a lot of legal issues came. He was accused of money laundering and fraud and when 3 witnesses in court examined the water fuel cell and claimed that “was nothing revolutionary about the cell at all and that it was simply using conventional electrolysis.”

The “Murder” of Stanley Meyer On March 21 1998 Stanley Meyer was at a restaurant with his brother, Stephen Meyer. Stephen Meyer quote: “Stanley took a sip of cranberry juice. Then he grabbed his neck, bolted out the door, and dropped to his knees and vomited violently.” After a 3 month investigation the police concluded that Meyer died from cerebral aneurysm. But many people who knew Meyer agree with the murder theory because his invention could have paved the way for free energy which could largely impact the oil industry and all energy industries as a whole…

Conclusion & What I Believe Of course the fact that he had died from cerebral aneurysm is a possible conclusion but personally I think he was poisoned. I would like to stress that there is a lot of evidence that he was not.

For example, there was no poison found in his body. But the fact remains, If someone murdered Stanley Meyer, then they have probably traded the planet’s health for simple profits. . .

Stray Kids Everywhere Around the World

Stray Kids is a K-pop boy group that debuted through the survival Show ‘Stray Kids’ by JYP in 2017. They consist of the producer (3RACHA) line: Bangchan, Changbin, and Han; the dancer (DANCERACHA) line: Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Felix; and the vocalist ( VOCALRACHA) line: Woojin, Seungmin, and I.N. A few years after debut, Woojin left the group due to some controversies. Now, they are an 8-member group.

They are known for their unique sounds, talented members, funny personalities, and for self-producing the vast majority of their music. Although they have a good amount of haters, they have a strong fanbase both domestically and internationally.

Stray Kids went viral with their hit ‘God’s Menu’ released in June, 2020. After then, they have been steadily increasing their fame with each comeback!

Their most recent album ‘Oddinary’ is doing very well, and has some great songs in it! My favorite are the title track ‘Maniac’ and ‘Charmer’. If you’d like to get into Stray Kids, check out some of their most well-known songs like God’s Menu, My Pace, Get Cool, Back Door, and Maniac.

Our school took part in a fundraiser to raise money for Saint Baldrick's Foundation, an organization that is trying to find a cure for childhood cancer.

The goal was to donate $1,000, and when that goal is reached, four of our amazing staff members will shave their heads live during PAWS. Well, that goal was reached and even passed.

They gained over $1,100! All the money was collected and donated to Saint Baldrick’s. The staff included Mr. Burr, Mr. Gonzalez, Mr. Mathews, and Mr. Goldenbroit, which is also the person that organized it all. Thank you to everybody that donated, the staff that helped plan this, the volunteers that shaved their heads, and a big thank you to Mr. Goldenbroit for the idea!

MOVIE/TV REVIEWS arinze nwagwu

ARCANE: LEAGUE OF LEGENDS 9.5/10 This series, based on the League of Legends video game, was purely unbelievable. It was a much-needed darker take on LOL characters that players often found silly or weak. The animation was groundbreaking, and the soundtrack is absolutely loaded. A second season is currently in production.

INFINITE - 9/10 This movie - it was crazy in every way possible. Some viewers disliked it for some strange reason, but to this writer, the characters were developed impressively. The villain’s motives were insane and delused, and this film made that work unfathomably well. And the CGI and choreography? I don’t even have words.

SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME 10/10 Flawless? Incredible? By far the greatest Spider-Man movie ever made? No question, No Way Home is on the top of this writer’s list this time around. It fixed issues Marvel fans have had with Spider-Man since he joined the MCU, all while delivering an amazing installment of the character’s legacy to the world. It’s already made sixth highest on the lifetime-gross list for movies, and it’s barely been three months. 2 5

How long have you been an art teacher?

I have been certified to teach art since 2011.

What do you enjoy most about teaching art?

Creating a learning space where students freely expressed their needs and interests.

How did you pick your career?

I kind of fell into teaching through a summer gig I had in undergrad.

Beginning with a job as an Arts 'n' Crafts instructor at a summer camp, I was able to take the portfolio of work developed there and obtain a job as a teacher for 3 year olds.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Crochet, read, sew, draw, and playing in my garden.

Do you have a pet?

2 Cats: Rene DesCat & Elizabeth, Princess of Bohemia. (Historically Rene Descartes & Elizabeth, Princess of Bohemia were pen pals) Other fun information: I have 5 sisters.

I have lived in New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and the Netherlands. When asked my age I tell the students I was born in 1885. I'm a huge fairytale fan. All fairytales.
