Este producto fue creado para el uso exclusive de los estudiantes de la clase de Español III de la escuela media John Witherspoon Middle School en Princeton Public Schools. El objetivo de este diario es promover la internalización de reglas básicas de la lengua española. En el proceso de completar este diario, los estudiantes detectan, clasifican y analizan fragmentos auténticos extraídos de su propia producción o de la producción de sus compañeros de clase. Esta actividad metacognitiva fomenta procesos analíticos, evaluativos y aplicativos que ayudan a conectar conceptos de una manera fiel y compatible con los procesos cognitivos naturales de adquisición de conocimientos. Indirect obj.

Este verbo es muy peculiar. A diferencia del inglés (I like an object), el sujeto está al final y concuerda con el verbo (This object pleases me). “Me – te – le – nos – os – les” es el objeto indirecto y muchas veces es necesario agregar “A mí, a ti, a él/ella, a nosotros, a vosotros, a ellos/ellas” para enfatizar o clarificar a quién le gusta qué. A Pedro le gustan las carreras de autos. Me gustas mucho. (I like you a lot) A nosotros no nos gusta viajar lejos. A Clara y Berta les apasiona leer.

A Enrique le fastidia hacer tarea. A mí me emocionan las películas románticas. ¿Qué os gusta más, el frío o el calor? ¿Por qué te chocan los chicos goth?

OBJETOS DIRECTO E INDIRECTO (¿Qué?)

Muchas acciones recaen sobre objetos o están destinadas a personas específicas. (compro un lapiz nuevo) Para evitar la redundancia, reemplazamos el objeto (el lapiz) por un pronombre objetivo (lo Lo compro). Al igual que en español, en inglés usamos it, me, them (bought it, found her, saw them). Balancear una ecuación química es igualar el número y clase de átomos, iones o moléculas . Balancear una estructura en español es igualar los componentes a ambos lados de una conjunción (“y” “o” “ni”) o una comparación. Para establecer el balance, hay que mirar qué hay en el primer lado y buscar un componente equivalente para el otro lado.
