STEPS FOR SUCCESS
IT’S ALL IN THE PREPARATION...
This week we are in preparation for our club champs starting next week. After having a few weeks off to catch my breath and spend some time with the family away, we are back into full swing. Lots of general maintenance and tidy up is being completed around the course between a few extra jobs.
One of our major works jobs has been the paths. 13th and the 14th paths are both now complete and have come up nicely since being dug out and replaced with crushed gravel. The next path to tackle is the 14th green to the 15th fairway. This is a big job as it's our longest path. We will be doing a section at a time to cause as little destruction during the 2nd week of championships as possible.
Another job I wanted to complete was adding the sand to the bunkers holding water on the 7th hole. These bunkers are right on the water table causing water to seep up into the base of the bunker on higher tides as well as water added with rain. This week the bunker will be GUR. So, thank you for understanding any inconvenience to golf.
