Ladies Ambrose – A Resounding Success!
Friday’s Ladies Ambrose was a fantastic event, with 112 players from across the district enjoying our beautiful course and warm hospitality The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and we extend our congratulations to the team from 13th Beach GC for their well-earned victory!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making the day so special. In particular, we appreciate the efforts of those working behind the scenes in the office, our dedicated hospitality team and volunteers, the gentlemen who assisted on the course by spotting balls and guiding players, and everyone who helped make the raffle a great success Your support made this event truly memorable!
The Junior Course (grey markers) is now fully complete! A huge thank you to Michael Havelberg for his hard work in bringing this project to life We look forward to seeing our junior members take on this exciting new challenge Whether they are just starting out or looking to refine their skills, this course offers a fantastic opportunity to learn, compete, and most importantly, have fun!
Despite hot and windy conditions, we had 118 golfers participate in Saturday’s Stableford competition Congratulations to Kevin Flynn (22) on his impressive score of 39! Grade Winners:
• A Grade: Jamie Walworth (10) & David Ash (10)
• B Grade: Stephen Tritten (15) & Dean McFarlane (16)
• C Grade: Kevin Flynn (22) & Gerry Vipond (22)
• D Grade: Ray Wekworth (24) & Dave West (28)
A small but competitive field took part in Monday’s event Congratulations to Andrew Lecce (28) on his win with 19!
Another hot day saw 93 players take on the Stableford competition Congratulations to Brian Shiell (16), who won on a countback with a score of 40! Grade Winners:
