I am very happy to announce that the committee has approved the development of a short course for junior players. This initiative is aimed at supporting the junior clinic we have recently run. It will feature nine holes that are approximately half the current distances; designed with safety and enjoyment in mind. Our intention is to then introduce a junior program, which includes access to the course and a 9 hole junior comp on a Sunday morning.

We hope this initiative will not only cultivate a new generation of players but also establish golf as a family-friendly pastime. With such a forward-thinking approach, the future of the game is looking brighter than ever.

A very warm Saturday saw 134 golfers take part in the Stableford competition. David Thomas(6) had a great round in the wind with a score of 37. Congratulations to the following -

While Jake and Mel were busy celebrating the arrival of their beautiful baby girl, the clubhouse crew were throwing a heartfelt goodbye party for a rather hefty Brushtail Possum who decided the old heater vent was the perfect penthouse suite!

But fear not! Thanks to Darren, our snakewrangling hero, the furry tenant was whisked away with barely a whisker out of place!
