From the President
As the bitter chill of winter sets in, the clubhouse is warm and cosy thanks to the brand-new reverse cycle system! Even more reason to stay for a drink and lunch from Krumm’s Cafe after your round. We sure appreciated this new heating system over the weekend!
How good were the Substitutes!! They certainly had the club house on their feet!! If you missed them, we are hoping they will bring their 60’s repertoire back to the island later in the year.

The course, as always, is looking magnificent this time of the year. Jake and the Course Staff, under the guidance of Kelvin, are doing a phenomenal job, As mentioned in Kelvin’s update, the guys are tireless in their efforts to upgrade and improve our course. Kel also asks all members to please do their little parts, like raking bunkers (even if they aren’t your footsteps and patch divots – all these little things help the image of your course immensely.
The King Island trip is almost full!! Fully organised by the Travelling Golfer – all you need to do is show up and have a great time! Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes are bucket list courses!!! Booking details are in the newsletter.

Kings Birthday Long Weekend
The club house was absolutely rocking with the wild and wonderful music of the 60’s!

The Substitutes had the dance floor full! From the first song until the last there was a whole lot of grooving going on.
A big shout out to the Queenscliff Yacht Club crew that joined us for the first time. We hope you’ll be back for the AFL final long weekend in September!
