On Monday we conducted our annual coring of the greens We have again had an issue with one of the contractors machines The vacuum (which sucks the cores up after the coring process) was not working correctly This resulted in some areas on the 1st and 18th being ripped up These areas are now being re turfed by the contractors due to the damage made

Because of the issue with the vacuum, it meant that we had to collect all the cores by hand This put our work schedule behind with top dressing and rubbing the sand and fertilising This setback also meant that our top dressing could not be completed in the 1st day

The rain on Tuesday morning was not ideal conditions for us continuing top dressing and rubbing in Rubbing in wet sand smears it across the green without rubbing into the core holes properly

These events were beyond our control, however we have full confidence that our greens will be back to their full potential very soon The mean time we thank you for your understanding band patience

Both the 18- & 9-hole comps have been wonderfully received by Members and Guests, and we anticipate this comp will only get bigger and better! The Tee Sheet is open for bookings; 18 Holes - booking from 9am & 9 Holes book from 10am

Monday 9th October is earmarked for another BBQ lunch after the game, this will be confirmed in the next few days
