TWICE A TARGET Temple vandalized a week after community outcry

PAGE 4

The Tulsi Mandir in South Richmond Hill was again the target of a possible hate crime on Tuesday morning when a group of men attacked the property armed with a sledgehammer and spray-painted the word “dog” in English and Hindi. The incident comes less than two weeks after a supposedly different group attacked a Gandhi statue there. Community and religious leaders came together to denounce that incident just last week.
