The city announced last Wednesday that more than 750 illicit pot shops were closed as part of “Operation Padlock to Protect,” a joint effort between Mayor Adams, the NYPD, the city Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection. Area leaders say there’s still more to be done.
