Howard Beach parade observes Memorial Day MORE MEMORIAL DAY COVERAGE PAGES 6, 8 AND 18 The Memorial Day parade in Howard Beach on Monday, hosted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2565, drew the masses, including veterans and Boy Scout Troop 237, seen above. The parade made several stops along the way, including at Walter J. Wetzel Triangle, and ended at Coleman Square. It was among the many parades and ceremonies that took place throughout the borough over the weekend.
