THURSDAY-SEPTEMBER11,2025
Charlotte Gooding Merchandising Vice President, Building Materials The Home Depot
We are overjoyed to be back together again this year. Your presence here today is more than support it is a statement of love, generosity, and belief in the potential of every person we serve. Please know that we never take that for granted, and we are deeply grateful.
This year, we are honored to recognize Charlotte Gooding, Vice President of Merchandising. When Charlotte visited our programs, her kindness and authenticity filled the room. Watching her connect so naturally with our children, adults, and staff was a beautiful reminder of why we do this work and why your generosity matters so deeply. Because of you, the joy we see in those moments becomes possible every day.
An event like this does not happen by chance it takes a family of committed hearts and hands. We are especially grateful to our extraordinary Home Depot team: Paul Lundholm, Jennifer Hardy, Shenell Leighton, Prudence Paul, and newcomer Brian Waliszewski. Jennifer’s genuine connection to QCP, the enthusiasm and steady leadership of Shenell, Prudence, and Brian, and Paul’s tireless drive to raise the bar each year shine through in today’s success.
We also extend heartfelt thanks to our dedicated Golf Committee, led with vision and heart by Rick Addamo. To every committee member who worked countless hours to make this outing a first-class experience we are so grateful for you.
To our QCP Development Team Shaun Caruana, Jyoti Lakhani, and Meliza Santiago and to every merchant, associate, and administrator who has become a true QCP ambassador, we say thank you. You are not just partners in this outing you are partners in changing lives.
For 29 years, the generosity of The Home Depot and its corporate vendors has fueled this outing, transforming it into QCP’s most important fundraising event of the year. But beyond the dollars raised, it is the lives touched that truly matter. Because of you, children at our Children’s Center take their first steps toward independence, and seniors continue to live with dignity, purpose, and joy.
On behalf of our Board of Directors, staff, and the people we are privileged to serve, welcome and thank you for making progress possible. Your presence today creates hope, opportunity, and brighter tomorrows for so many.

Wendy Gennaro Executive Director Director of Development
Welcome to the 29th year of our outing!
As I look back, I can’t help but feel deep gratitude for the committee members who first brought this outing to life nearly three decades ago. Many of them are no longer with us, but their vision and dedication live on in this remarkable tradition. None of us could have imagined how much this event would grow, or the incredible impact it would have and it’s all because of the steadfast commitment of The Home Depot leadership team, the dedicated merchants, and most importantly, all of you.
Over the years, one thing has never changed: the warmth of this community and the bonds of camaraderie we share. Yes, today is about enjoying a wonderful round of golf on some of Long Island’s most beautiful courses — but it’s also about so much more. It’s about recognizing the profound difference this outing makes for Queens Centers for Progress and for the children and adults with developmental disabilities who count on us.
On behalf of the Golf Committee, I am deeply honored to congratulate our 2025 honoree, Charlotte Gooding, Vice President of Merchandising – Building Materials. Charlotte, your kindness and leadership inspire us, and we are grateful you have accepted this recognition. Thank you and your team for the extraordinary effort you poured into this year’s outing. With close to $2 million in sponsorships, your hard work has made a real and lasting impact.
It has been my privilege to serve on this committee since the very beginning first as a member and now as Chairman. I am continually humbled by the dedication of the people I have the honor of working alongside. My heartfelt thanks go to Home Depot’s Shenell Leighton, Prudence Paul, and Brian Waliszewski, who ensure that this event reflects The Home Depot’s values and spirit of giving.
A special word of gratitude to Jennifer Hardy, RVP NY Metro, whose warmth, compassion, and advocacy for QCP have touched us all. And to Paul Lundholm your tireless energy and vision make this outing stronger and more impactful each year. You bring people together from all over the country — more than 600 of you this year — and you remind us, with such clarity, why we are here.
And finally, to our sponsors: you are vital to the success of this outing. Your generosity sustains this event and, more importantly, strengthens QCP’s mission and the lives of those they serve.
On behalf of the entire Golf Committee, thank you for making year 29 one to remember. Together, we are building something lasting — not just for today, but for the future.
With gratitude, Rick Addamo Chairman, QCP Golf Committee

Meet Melina. When she first arrived at QCP’s Children’s Center she was a shy, withdrawn little girl, and struggled to walk, eat, and communicate. But with the unwavering support of her teachers, therapists, and classmates, Melina has undergone an extraordinary transformation.
Independence: Once reliant on a walker, Melina now confidently navigates our school, climbing stairs with ease.
Appetite for Life: From a picky eater to an adventurous foodie, Melina now enjoys a variety of foods, fueling her growing body and mind.
A Voice of Her Own: Melina has blossomed into a vocal and expressive child, communicating in both English and Spanish.
A Joyful Spirit: Her laughter fills our classrooms as she engages in circle time, dramatic play, and art activities.
Your generosity has been instrumental in making Melina's journey possible. Your support has provided:
Specialized Therapies: Tailored therapies to address Melina's individual needs.
Nurturing Environments: A safe and stimulating space for her to learn and grow.
Dedicated Staff: Caring professionals committed to her development.
By investing in the future of children with special needs, you're not just making a difference; you're creating miracles.
A special thank you to all of our wonderful staff and volunteers whose time and energy are a vital part of this golf outing. We couldn’t do it without your help!
