Bus Routes 2026-27
QE School Bus Service The school bus service at QE covers a wide selection of the local area. Anyone wishing to sign-up to the service must complete an Annex K form, which can be found by logging in to the Parent Portal. The QE School Bus Service is available for students from Year 1 upwards. Booster seats are provided. Note: Spaces on our bus services are limited and priority will be given to those requiring a five-day return service. This is to ensure that the service is running at maximum capacity. The 8 routes QE offers are as follows:

Train service to Cattal station
The local train station to QE is Cattal station, just five minutes drive from campus. More information on this service can be found at www.northernrail.org.
We run a daily pick-up and drop-off service to Cattal station. Anyone wishing to sign-up for station pick-up and dropoff must still complete the Annex K form.

Bus Service contact Should your child not be using the bus service for any reason or there is a different person meeting them at the drop-off point than arranged, please contact the travel department on 01423 333643 with as much notice as possible. The office is open from 8:30 until 17:00 each school day. For any enquires or out of hours contact, please email travel@qe.org. Safety notice The safety of QE students is our priority. If there is no one to collect your child at the designated stop, or if we have not been notified of a change to the person there to collect your child, they will be taken back to QE where they can be collected. Should an emergency arise, and you are unable to collect your child until a later time, we can arrange for them to have supper at the school and they will be cared for until you are able to collect them. All buses are fitted with seatbelts, which must always be worn by students whilst using the service. Failure to do so will result in them being excluded from using the service.
