MyFuture Practice Interview Tool Guide
A. First check your laptop or PC, (do not use a mobile device) Is your Laptop/PC sufficiently charged or connected to power? Note: These interviews will not work on a mobile device.
Is your laptop/PC webcam and microphone connected and on? Is the camera shutter open? Be ready to allow MyFuture to access camera/mic/audio, when requested.
B. Next, check your internet connection. You must have a strong, secure, uninterrupted internet connection, (check that your connection speed is “Good-Fast” i.e. at least 50-100BPS).
We recommend that you avoid using slower internet connections such as phone hot-spotting, VPNs, and use during times of concurring demand from other users on single, home/shared wi-fi connections. Slow or intermittent, internet connection raises the risk of failure/falling off during a recording attempt.
C. Then check your internet browser before commencing. You should only use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers, (including for MacBook – do not use Safari). No other browsers are supported. It is also advisable to check that your Chrome/Edge version is up to date. We recommend using an “Incognito tab” on your browser. (Click Control, Shift, N simultaneously to open). This will ensure that all extensions/audio & video blockers are turned off.
