Last month’s Go Global Week focusing on work and study and volunteering abroad opportunities took place from 06-09 October within One Elmwood and was a great success with six events and four pop upstands.
There were 722 Queen’s students in attendance across all events during Go Global Week, with some great insights shared by our Global Opportunities Team and Go Global Partners and Go Global Student Ambassadors throughout the week.
There are more Global Opportunities open to our Queen’s students throughout the year.
Queen’s students can spend a full year at a US college or University with Study USA.
Each year between 50-60 students from Northern Ireland participate in the Study USA programme. The programme is funded by the Northern Ireland Department for the Economy and delivered by the British Counci , with tuition fees generously waived by the participating US colleges.

This programme gives you the chance to spend one semester or a full year on study exchange in certain institutions in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the US during the academic year 2026-27. More information can be found at the link below.
