CHSA seeks applicants for 2022 bursary
THE search for three motivated and talented young people to receive financial support from the Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association’s
2022 Undergraduate Bursary is now on. The successful applicants will join the 14 young people who have already benefited from the financial support. The bursary is £4500 and is paid in three instalments at the beginning of each academic year or the first three years if the degree is longer.
The CHSA Undergraduate Bursary is open only to the children of employees of CHSA members. David Garcia, vice president and treasurer of the CHSA, said: “The bursary is a wonderful way to give something back to the people who work hard in our sector. Every year, it’s a wonderful to meet the talented young people. They are bright and enthusiastic and give us confidence that the future is in safe hands. Selecting the final three is never easy but we are very much looking forward to meeting them and hearing about their plans for their course and university.”
Applicants must be 18 years or over on 1 September 2022 and commencing their higher education studies this autumn. They will be assessed according to need, worthiness, endeavour and overall performance. Applying is simple - visit the CHSA website and click on the link on the bursary page. The closing date for applications is Friday 1 July 2022. Shortlisted applicants need to be available to meet the judging panel on Wednesday 20 July and Thursday 21 July 2022.
