Angel Tree Lighting Ceremony When? Monday, November 30 @ 4:00 p.m. Where? Lawndale Civic Center Plaza (see below for location details) Events and Activities: Arrival of Santa Claus, Visits with Santa, Arts and Crafts, Live Stage Entertainment, Snow Sled Run, Food Vendors and much, much more! Please join us for this fun event. All activities are free. Food will be available for purchase. Please bring your camera to take photos of your children while they visit Santa. *Location: Lawndale Civic Center Plaza is located at the intersection of W. 147th Street and Burin Avenue one block west of Hawthorne Boulevard and W. 147th Street. Navigate to 14700 Burin Avenue. General street closures for Halloween Haunt and Angel Tree Lighting Ceremony events: W. 147th Street from Hawthorne Boulevard to Burin Avenue; Burin Avenue from De Oro Lane to City Hall south parking lot terminus. Affected streets will close at 12:00 p.m. and will re-open at approximately 9:00 p.m. on October 31 and November 30. Parking Information: Parking for the Halloween Haunt and Angel Tree Lighting Ceremony will be available at the following locations on a first come, first served basis: Lucille Smith Elementary School, Hawthorne Boulevard median and City Hall west parking lot. No time limits for those parking at Hawthorne Boulevard median between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on October 31 and November 30.
