SS15 is a well known as food haven because of the varieties of cafĂŠ and restaurants in here. This is due to the high population of student in this area especially college student . 04
History of SS15 •
It is just a residential area before 1976.

Government started development on 1976.

As Taylor’s College, Inti College, Metropolitan College and Alpha College have moved into SS15, population of residents SS15 has increased linearly.

Due to the high population of students in SS15, varieties of café and restaurants open up in this area.

The most famous restaurant, Asia Café closed down in 2017 to give way for high-rise commercial building. 05

The café name “Dáo” means bean in Cantonese. The recipe of soymilk and beancurd (tau fu far) is came from owner’s Ipoh old café. 18
The soymilk and tau fu far is fresh homemade every day. Besides tau fu far with traditional syrup, there are also tau fu far with ginger syrup, red bean syrup and sesame syrup.
It is a affordable place in SS15 for student to savour traditional dessert in big city.

The difference between Courtyard SS15 and normal shopping mall is more than half of the shops is cafĂŠ and restaurants which is the haven of eater. 26
