The message reached the church quietly but urgently: Donald wanted someone to come.

In Sampa village in Zambia, people knew the local gospel workers would listen. They had spent months visiting homes, praying with families, and opening the Bible with anyone searching for hope. So when Donald reached out, they came.

When the gospel workers arrived, Donald and his wife explained their fear.

A witch doctor had accused Donald of practicing witchcraft. He had been warned not to bathe for a week—and not to let rain fall on him—or he would die. And it was the middle of the rainy season.

But that wasn’t the only burden he carried.

Years earlier, after his child survived a lightning strike, Donald’s father and uncles had tattooed his body with symbols. They told him the markings would protect his family. Only later did he realize those symbols had initiated him into witchcraft.

Donald wanted freedom.

Donald heard the truth of God’s Word—thanks to you!

The gospel workers listened patiently as Donald shared his story. Then they opened the Bible and showed him a different truth—that real protection and peace come from Jesus Christ alone.

They prayed together. That day, Donald chose to place his trust in Christ.

Thanks to the worker’s continued spiritual support, Donald now lives without fear of curses or death—because he has a new life in Christ.

For a long time, Marleny wondered, “Why, God?”

Her life had become a series of painful choices. With serious health problems and limited income, she left her husband and children to move to Mitú, Colombia, hoping to find work and support them.

But life there was even harder than she expected.

Far from her family and still battling illness, she began to question whether she had made the right decision.

During that difficult time, Marleny remembered her cousin, who had recently given her life to Christ. Around the same time, a series of Bible meetings were being held at her cousin’s church,

so Marleny decided to attend. After the meetings, her cousin introduced her to the pastor Daniel, a QHM gospel worker.

A few days later, the pastor visited Marleny. Soon he and other church members began meeting with her and her family every two weeks for Bible studies.

As Marleny learned God’s promises, her heart and life began to change—she found His peace. Her health improved, and she saw God helping her.

Sometimes I pause and think about the quiet moments where ministry truly happens.

A gospel worker sitting in a simple home or village gathering. Opening the Bible with someone learning about Jesus for the very first time. Praying with a family searching for hope. Gently sharing truth with someone who has long lived in fear or non-biblical beliefs.

These moments may seem small, but they are often where God does His greatest work.

What makes this especially meaningful to me is knowing that you are part of those moments.
