A miracle rises from the ashes
How your support of one family changed an entire village in Ethiopia
“Help! Our house is on fire!”
The cry echoed through the village of Jamaya, Ethiopia.
Noma and his wife rushed to gather their three children as flames tore through their home. They tried to put out the fire themselves, but it spread too fast. The fire had been set on purpose—because their family had recently been baptized as Seventhday Adventists.
Neighbors peeked out from their windows…but
no one came to help. Many believed God was punishing Noma’s family for choosing a new faith.
But God had other plans.
Because of you, hope didn’t die
When church members heard what had happened, they came right away. They prayed over the ashes. They asked God for a miracle—not just for Noma’s family, but for the entire village to see that He is real, living, and full of love.
And then—it happened…

Your support made restoration possible
Donations poured in. Not just money, but also tools, supplies, and household goods. With support from the church, Noma’s family built a better home than before. When it was finished, the whole church gathered for a celebration, praising God for His goodness.
And the neighbors noticed. They had seen the fire…now they saw the restoration. They had heard the prayers…now they

You helped share Jesus in Malawi
The Word traveled beyond the crowd— thanks to you.
Thanks to your support, lives were changed during a recent mission trip to Malawi!
Each evening, evangelistic meetings were held in the villages of Yudea, Mwanje, and Namingazi. Hundreds came to hear the gospel in person.
But many others heard the message from their homes—and were deeply moved.
Every day, speakers and gospel workers visited homes to pray, study the Bible, and share God’s love with residents.
By the end of the trip, 240 people chose to be baptized!

Families all over the area were able to listen to the evening meetings from their homes.

Africa isn’t just a place to visit
When most people think of continental Africa, they imagine safaris, beautiful landscapes, and vibrant cultures—a place to visit for vacation.
But at Quiet Hour Ministries, we know that Africa is much more than a travel destination. It’s a land where millions are still waiting to hear the life-changing message of Jesus.
You help take the gospel from off the beaten path to Africa’s remote villages and towns, where it isn’t just a story—it’s hope for a better life.
Thanks to your faithful support, our teams can reach these places with God’s love, bringing light into darkness and bringing healing to broken hearts.
As we share the Good News, lives are being transformed. Thank you for helping us go beyond the surface, reaching deep into Africa’s heart with the hope of Jesus.
Thank you for helping reach even more people than we expected. Because of you, faith truly did come by hearing!

Hundreds gathered at the lake to be baptized.
Blessings,

Help share Jesus in Africa!
Many people in Africa still haven’t heard the Good News of Jesus.
■ Some live in hard-to-reach places.
■ Others speak different languages.
■ Many follow strong local traditions and beliefs.
But hearts are open, and God is moving. Quiet Hour Ministries is working with local teams to reach these communities. We help train gospel workers, provide safe travel, and build trusting relationships.
We can’t do it without you.
Your gift today will help more people hear about Jesus for the very first time. You’ll help send someone to share His love and hope with those who are still waiting to hear.
