At first, Naw only went because she had nothing else to do.
“I was tired and heavy inside,” she said. You sent gospel workers who cared
But their kindness broke through. They didn’t just teach her—they spent time with her—they became her friends. And slowly, Naw opened her heart again.
“I felt like I was getting closer to God,” she said.
One Sabbath, the pastor gave an altar call. Naw stepped forward. She was ready. She got baptized that day.
“My heart was filled with joy and happiness,” she said.
Because of you, Naw chose faith over fear
News of her decision to follow Jesus made its way back home. Her father later found out—and was angry. But she didn’t let his words shake her.
She still loves her family. But Naw chose to follow God first. Nothing could separate her now from the love of Jesus.
